in the basement-
Mike: hey guys!
Will: hey mike
Max: let's play truth or dare guys
El: o-ok
Max: ok, mike truth or dare
Mike: uh dare
Max: I dare you to join the football team next year with Lucas so me and el can cheer you guys on
Mike: I was going to anyway, wait? Cheer?
Max: yeah dingus, we're signing up for cheer next year
Mike: oh cool! Anyway el truth or dare
El: truth
Mike: why did you have a bloody nose last night
El: I ran into the door
Mike: mhm
El: sorry will, I can't lie, I used my powers and I practiced, happy now?
Max: so you guys were at the school
Mike: I knew it, hey uh will can I talk to you in the bathroom
Will: uh yeah I guess
-the bathroom-
Mike: why the hell would you help her will, what the hell
Will: if you and Joyce said so she's gonna do it herself so I'd rather have me help her so she doesn't hurt herself
Mike: she's my girlfriend, and plus you saw her faint at that cabin
Will: she's my sister, and did she faint last night mike? Did she?
Mike: no she didn't but I'm just saying, why would you help her basically attempt suicide
Will: it's not suicide mike, and like I said, it's either I help her or she rebels and does it herself without us knowing
Mike: can you bring el in here
Will: fine
-el walks in as will sits next to max on the couch-
Mike: what were you thinking el
El automatically breaks down in tears and tries to open the door of the bathroom as Mike stops her.
Mike: el, what's wrong?
El: what am I supposed to do mike, sit here and know my dad could be alive?  I don't care anymore, and if will doesn't wanna help me anymore I don't care because I'll do it myself
Mike: stop crying el, I hate seeing you cry, really
El: well then why won't you just let me do this
Mike: you could get hurt
El: I've been hurt before, I'm fine
Mike: that's my point, you don't need anymore hurt
El: well I'm going to keep hurting I know my fucking dad is alive
Mike: woah, fine, if I help you and will, you have to promise that if you do get hurt we tell Joyce about everything
El: fine, thank you
Mike: your welcome, I love you but if it comes to you getting hurt that's where I draw the line so like I said, do you promise
