Part 14- mikes jelous

El: so uh if you need anything max just ask
Max: yeah
Max had just walked into the new house with el carrying maxs skateboard and max carrying a backpack full of her stuff, el showed max to there room
Max: thanks, so if i'm being honest this is going to be so fun
El: ok so Joyce gave us some money, do you wanna shop for are room?
Max: yeah sure, is joyce going to drive us
El: yeah she's going to drop us off
Joyce: you girls ready?
El: yep!
The girls drive to the mall and joyce finds a parking spot and parks her car
Joyce: ok if you guys need anything call me and i'll be back here at 4pm to get you
Max: ok thank you so much
*max and el get out and joyce hands them the money*
Max: 200! Jesus, thank you!
Joyce: it's the least i can do, go have fun
Max and el run to the mall entrance in the cold snowy air and walk in to see everyone walking around
El: ok so i have a idea, we should get like fairy lights and hang them on the wall because are room is dark
Max: perfect
-at mikes house-
Mike: i cant believe el left
Karen: mike your fine, she lives two minutes away
Mike: i know but it was just really quick and now she lives with max and there sisters, i'll never get to see el again
Karen: it gives you more time to spend with your friends michael
Mike: So I'm just supposed to forget about el?
Karen: oh and lucas called, his mom is going to take you guys to the mall to get max a present because his family feels bad about what happened
Mike: fine, bye
Karen: love you too michael
*mike gets picked up by lucas and his mom drops them off at the mall and gives them money to get something for max*
Lucas: i haven't seen max all week
Mike: yea she's been with el *rolls his eyes*
Lucas: I love that they are hanging out but like their sisters now, they don't need to hang out as much now, right?
Mike: yea, and i just can't believe will is the brother of both of are girlfriends
Lucas: yea so now i don't have to worry about him trying to date them haha
Mike: Still though, wait, is that el and max?
Lucas: uh yea i think it is, they just moved in what are they doing here
Mike: hanging out like i said
Lucas: should we go say hi?
Mike: i guess
*they walk over*
El: i know but you will get used to it max, woah jesus, mike?
Mike: what are you guys doing here
Max: shopping and getting my mind off things *hugs lucas*
Mike: oh
El: you ok mike?
Mike: yeah
Lucas: he's jealous
Mike: i didn't say that, ok fine
El: why because i'm hanging out with max?
Mike: maybe
Max: she's my sister, and if your step dad got arrested and you now live with your best friends and your real dad and mom didn't care you would want to spend every second of your life with el too
Mike: yeah i know, sorry i just thought el didn't want to hang out with me
El: your kidding right
Mike: no
Max: ok well i'm going to continue shopping, el you coming?
El: yeah
Max: well call you guys later
*they walk away from the boys*
Lucas: see, max just needed some time with el
Mike: yea i know, let's just get her gift and you can sleepover after
Lucas: deal

El: jesus, i don't know why he gets so jealous
Max: because he's mike
El: true
Max: we should get a new radio
El: oh my god yes
*later that night at the byers house*
Joyce: So did you girls have fun?
El: it was fun into we ran into mike and lucas
Will: what did they do this time
Max: mike was just jealous that we are hanging out alot
Joyce: well there teenage boys so there going to be clingy i guess
El: i guess so *laughs*
Joyce: Anyway, what did you girls get at the mall?
Max: uh lights, new radio, a rug, curtains, some comics, bed sheets, and some posters
Will: i'm going to borrow those comics just sayin
El: i figured
Joyce: well tomorrow after school i'll pick you guys up and i figured we could go maybe go sledding
Max: that would be really fun actually
-at the wheeler's house-
Mike: she probably hates me now
Lucas: shut up mike, she doesn't hate you its el
Mike: fine fine
Lucas: i think it's kinda cool that there siblings now
Mike: i guess
-at the byers house-
Will: well i'm going to bed, see you tomorrow morning
Joyce: night will, when are you girls going to bed
El: were going to unpack everything we got today then we will at least be in bed by 11
Joyce: ok just don't stay up too late
Max: deal
*max and el run upstairs to there room*
Max: where are the sheets we got el
El: they should be sitting on your bed
Max: ok, i'll put the sheets on the beds if you place the rug and start hanging clothes up
El: ok which side of the closet do you want
Max: it doesn't matter because i'm going to be sharing or stealing your clothes i should say *laughs*
El: true *laughs*
*time skip 2 hours later*
Max: well its 10:48 and we have school so i guess we should go to bed now
El: ok well goodnight max
Max: *shuts the lights off* night
-in the morning at the byers*
Joyce: WILL, MAX, EL.  FOOD IS READY *she yells up the stairs*
Max: OK WE WILL BE DOWN IN A SEC
El: what are you wearing today
Max: *max holds up light gray sweatpants and lucas's black adidas hoodie* this and converse probably
El: dude same but my sweatpants are black and i'm wearing mikes star wars hoodie
Max: great minds think alike
El: i think joyce made eggs comeon
Will: good morning guys
Max: morning will
El: i'm starving
Joyce: well there's eggs and toast on the table
Max: thank you!
Joyce: no problem
Max: um i know this sounds weird and i just moved in but do you have a issue with me calling you mom
Joyce: not at all max
Max: thanks it just makes me feel, uh how should i put it, safe?
Joyce: it's quite fine with me
El: well then i guess i'll call you mom too *laughs*
Will: i already call you mom so i can't really join in on the fun here
*joyce laughs*
Joyce: ok eat up, we have to get going
*10 min later*
Will: ok we have to go now mom
*They all get in the car and drive to school*
Joyce: ok don't forget after school im getting you guys for sledding
Max: thanks mom *she shuts the door of the car and joyce drives away smiling*
Will: thanks max
Max: for what
Will: i can tell my mom is happy
Max: oh, your welcome i guess
El: well i'll see you guys at lunch, i gotta get to math
Max: ok see ya
Will: do you wanna walk to science with me
Max: sure
Will: i just figured sense were siblings now, we should get to know each other more i guess
Max: yea
*time skip to lunch*
Lucas: are you not going to eat max
Max: no i had a big breakfast
El: same
Will: yea im not hungry either
Dustin: it's so trippy that you guys live together now
Will: i think its cool
Mike: *mike mumbles under his breath* ugh of course you do
El: what'd you say, i couldnt hear you
Mike: nothing
El: oh uh ok
Lucas: what are you guys doing after school, maybe we could hang
Max: were going sledding with joyce somewhere like a hour away
Lucas: oh, what about you two *looks at dustin and mike*
Mike: i have to study for a test but im free after that
Dustin: what test, history?
Mike: yeah
Dustin: why don't we hang out and study for it together
Lucas: Where, Mike's house?
Dustin: i guess, and uh when you guys are done sledding you can always come over too
Max: thanks i'll call you guys if it gets to late for us to come over
Mike: k
*later that night in mikes basement*
Mike: i don't wanna study anymore guys, it's been 3 hours
Lucas: are you sure your not upset
Mike: of course i'm upset, my girlfriend moves in with one of my good friends and her bff and now i don't even see her anymore and when we saw them in the call they said they would call us and look who didn't call us
Dustin: there just trying to make max feel comfortable, give them some time to hang out
Mike: Time? It's been a week
Lucas: i know mike but there siblings so will isnt going to try and date them and also like dustin said, she's probably just trying to help max.  El obviously isn't mad at you, she was wearing your hoodie today
Mike: i guess, but even though she's not mad its still making me mad i don't even get to see her anymore
*the phone rings*
Mike: hello?
El: hey its el, we just got back and i wanted to know if instead of tonight we could all hang out tomorrow?
Mike: sure but my moms having friends over so it can't be at my place
El: you guys can come see the new house and hang out at my place instead
Mike: Let me ask Dustin and Lucas, hey guys tomorrow after school at els?
Lucas: sure
Dustin: i'm down
Mike: ok so right after school or what time?
El: 3? So an hour after?
Mike: sure
El: ok well i love you
Mike: love you too, um bye
*he awkwardly hangs up the phone*
