*el pulls away from the kiss and smiles and hugs him*
Dustin: *wake vomit*
*lucas and max sit down with el and mike*
Mike: well happy new years guys

*they go back to the basement*

El: no, karen and joyce are letting me go to school with you guys when school starts again in 3 days

*holly runs down the stairs*

El: i have been up

Lucas: he's upstairs making food

*january 3rd the morning of when they go back to school*
El: mike wake up we have to go soon
*they get dressed and go to school*
Mike: ok so we don't have all of are classes so if you need anything just come get me or talk to me after class
El: im fine, lucas is in all my classes
Mike: i know i know i'm just saying
El: im fine plus are lockers at only 5 away
*they walk up to there lockers*
*the bell rings*
Mike: shit see ya babe
*they walk to class*
*els first class is science*
Mr clark: Jane is it?
El: yes you can call me jane
Mr clark: ok class we have a new student named jane who is joining us on the party train this year
*she sits down in a empty seat next to lucas*
Lucas: Did you find your locker ok?
El: yep it's only 5 away from mikes
Lucas: that's good
*class ends*
*el walks into the hall*
Random girl: that's mike's girlfriend over there
*el looks up at her then back at the floor noticing how skinny all the girls passing her are*
Lucas: el you ok?
El: im fine i just going to go get a sweatshirt from mikes locker real quick
Lucas: ok see ya next period
*el goes to mike's locker*
*she opens it to get a hoodie when mike walks up behind her and hugs her*
Mike: and what are you doing missy
El: getting a hoodie
Mike: it's so hot in the school though, they turned the heat on finally
El: i'm still cold
*she grabs the hoodie and puts it on covering her then walks away looking at the floor*
*skipping to lunch*
*el sits down with the party at a table*
Max: how were your first couple classes el
El: *looking at her lunchbox puts it underneath the table and looking at the table and making no eye contact with anyone* they were fine
Mike: *mikes thoughts that he didn't say out loud* *did i do something? Why is she upset? Is she ok? Why isn't she eating? She probably ate too much for breakfast, god shes so pretty* are you ok?
El: im fine, how are your classes guys
Max: bad, stacey will NOT STOP i tell you will not stop mocking me
Mike: i have a burning hate for her, sorry dustin
Dustin: suzie is the only one for me now, its ok
*its recess time and el stays in the bathroom reading all recess*
*recess was in the gym this winter because of the bad snow*
Mike: do you think she is ok, she didn't eat anything
Dustin: she was probably just tired
Mike: where even is she
Max: i think she's in the bathroom
Mike: can you go check on her
*max walks to the bathroom to see el sitting on the nasty floor reading*

El: *el looks up from her book* hi
Max: are you ok
El: im fine
Max: Do you not want to hang with the boys and me today?
El: i do i'm just taking a break
*the bell rings*
Max: time for the last class of the day i guess, i'll call you later, ok?
El: ok
*the last bell of the day rings and the kids all go home*
Mike: el do you want to make cookies, you didn't eat lunch
El: i'm just going to do my homework
Mike: no come here, first in burning heat you wear my hoodie, then lucas tells me about the girls in the hall, then you don't eat lunch and spend the whole recess in the bathroom and now you want to do homework instead of eat and make cookies, el im not that dum
El: i don't know what youre talking about
Mike: max thinks it's because you dont think your skinny enough
El: yeah no shit, look at me mike i'm the opposite of perfect and all the girls at are school. Look at them
Mike: el your kidding right, you can keep thinking that but i don't care what you look like and plus you are the definition of perfect so can you take the hoodie off and make cookies with me
