Part 17- ditching all the way to summer

-at the wheeler's house-
Karen: honey how's your eye
Mike: mom for the last time i'm fine ok
Karen: ok well then
-the next day at school-
Max: ok but really though we need to do that more often el
Principal: ladie my office now
El: shit
Mike: shit?
Max: uh talk to you later guys *laughs* holy shit el we in so much trouble *laughs*
Principal: LADIES NOW
*they walk into his office*
*he shows them the security cameras*
Principal: care to explain
El: not really
Principal: fine both of you, detention after school. I'll call your mothers
Max: were sisters
Principal: sorry i forgot, but don't try and make me feel guilty mis
Max: i would never *she smiles*
Principal: after school come to my office for detention got it
El: i guess so
*they smile and walk out of the room with the boys standing outside the door*
Max: stalkers *smiles*
Lucas: care to explain?
El: not really thanks, i gotta get to class *her and max run past them and laugh*
Mike: she lied
Dustin: lied?
Mike: i asked where they were yesterday on the phone and they said the bathroom cuz they had girl issues
Lucas: because they knew we would be mad mike
Mike: that's there 4th time in detention since school started and i wouldn't be supposed if there's been more times and they didn't get caught
Will: my moms going to freak
Dustin: i didn't think el would be like this
Lucas: i mean there teenage girls but i mean no other girls from are school ditch
Mike: thats why im worried and mad, what if they become the girls in highschool who are badasses and skip and smoke, i mean el smoked when she lived in that new town
Lucas: wait what? And mike you smoked so you can't get mad
Mike: only like 3 times and yeah she told me all about it
Principal: boys get to class unless you have a hall pass
Will: ok
The last bell of the day rings and el and max walk out of there last class laughing
El: it's only like 2 hours its fine
Max: 2 hours is nothing
*the boys run up behind them*
Dustin: 2 hours is more than 0 so its something
Max: why do you guys care anyway
Lucas: because you're are friends and me and mike's girlfriends, and this kind of stuff could affect your grades guys
El: come on guys, it was just one time and it was fun. Chill out
Mike: it's been more than one el
*she gives him puppy dog eyes and walks up to him wrapping her arms around his neck*
El: just let me have some fun mike, pleaseeee
Mike: fine but no more after today
*the girls walk away*
Max: BYE GUYS I'LL CALL YOU LATER *she whispers in els ear* "your teaching me how to do that puppy dog thing on lucas"
El: for sure
Principal: ladys, go to the science room that's where the detention is today
Max: k
*they walk to the science room*
Mr clarke: El? Max?
El: heyyyyy
Mr clarke: i didn't expect you girls today
El: we skipped school *she laughs*
Mr clarke: don't let it happen again ladies, go sit down
Max: thanks
*they sit down next to the other people like troy, derek, and all the school bullies and jocks*
Troy: sense when are there girls in detention *laughs*
Max: we've had it before thank you very much and if you could shut the hell up so i can do my work that would be wonderful
Troy: oooh somebodys in a bad mood, is it that time on month
*he high fives all the boys*
El: oh shut it
Mr clarke: boys be quiet and do your work
Troy: sorry sir
El: that shut you up
Troy: whatever freak
El: right back at ya
*2 hours later it ended and joyce picked them up*
Joyce: What were you guys thinking! Again?
El: you and hop did it all the time joyce, and plus we just needed some time, are teacher was being really harsh
Max: sorry
Joyce: just don't do it again
*the girls nod and they go home running up to there room throwing there bags on the floor*
Max: You know you're not a freak right?
El: yeah i guess
Max: you guess? El come on you've saved us SO MANY TIMES
*el chuckles and lays on her bed*
El: should we call them
*will barges in there room*
Max: Do you know what knocking means?
Will: you smoked?! *he shuts the door*
El: the neighbors let me try, it's not like i liked it *she lied looking over at max*
Will: i believe you, just don't do that again
El: WAIT DID MIKE TELL YOU?
Will: yeah but he's just worried you're going to go down the wrong path el
El: that's hilarious
Will: i'm not joking
Max: its els life not his
Will: well lucas feels the same way about you

*will leaves the room*
El: dude when school gets out were going to show them that we are totally bitchin over the summer
Max: i just want it to be summer already
And just like that school war over in a snap, the months had past the school bell had rung and el and max were ready to run out the door as their math teacher yelled out "LADIES I DISMISS THE CLASS NOT THE BELL" and they sat back down. This was just a typical thing their math teacher would say EVERYDAY after the bell rings. They finally sat back down and she dismissed the class and el and max ran outside and threw there books and papers in the woods out in the field.
El: just like that, its summer
Max: were such badass's
El: i can't wait, come on i'll race you to the front of the school
Max: your on
*They run to the front of the school tying*
Max: i totally won
El: nope, don't even start with me
Mike: woah woah woah what?
Max: nothing *she laughs*
Lucas: ok beach tomorrow? 1pm?
El: deal, well be there
*el and max grabs there bikes and hop on*
Max: I'LL RACE YOU
El: YOUR ON ASSHOLE
