Part 34- bloody nose

Max rode her bike home to see El sitting on the couch wiping blood off her nose and getting a glass of water.
El: max?
Max: why do you have blood on your nose
El: why did you just walk in the door
Max: I asked first
El: I just had a bloody nose
Max: uh ok
El: now answer my question
Max: you seemed upset and mike asked me if we could try to find you
Will: so you followed us?
Max: nevermind, I have to call mike
-in the phone in Max's room-
Mike: max?
Max: hey yeah, there home, el had blood on her face but she said it was just a bloody nose and will was getting water
Mike: blood
Max: blood?
Mike: the school, the sticks, the noise we heard, it was them
Max: why would they be at the school mike
Mike: her powers
Max: but
Mike: I'll come over tomorrow, we can talk to them about it
Max: Joyce is having friends over; your house?
Mike: yeah, meet me in my basement with el and will at what 3?
Max: sure
Mike: ok thanks
Max went to bed leaving Joyce sleeping, will sitting on the couch, and el wiping the blood stains off her nose
-downstairs-
El: she had to call mike, why
Will: I don't know, maybe to tell him we're home and fine?
El: I guess
Will: don't worry, if they find out I'll cover for you
El: promise?
Will: promise, your my sister el, and plus, I don't break promises
El: thanks, I should probably get to bed now
Will: same, see ya in the morning
-the next morning-
Joyce: KIDS WAKE UP, FOOD IS READY
El: OK
Max wakes up and outs on some Jean shorts with a red cropped tank top and el throws on some ripped jean shorts with a light purple crop top.  They run downstairs to see will and Joyce eating some toast and hash browns.
Joyce: foods on the counter
Max: thanks, and uh when your friends come over the 3 of us are going to mikes
Will: we are?
Max: yes, is they ok mom
Joyce: yes, just be back by 10?
Max: sure thing
Later on that day it got to be 2:47 pm and the kids got on there bikes riding over to mike's house and ringing the doorbell to have it open up to mikes sister holly standing there with a doll in here hand welcoming the 3 teens in.
