Joyce: ok i'll pick you guys up today
Will: thanks
*the kids get out of the car*
Mike: *runs over to el* morning
El: good morning
Mike: do you wanna walk to class with me
El: sure
Mike: did you study for history
El: duh
Mike: i figured
Will: shut it lovebirds, anyway mike do you wanna sleepover tonight
Mike: uh el are you ok with it
El: yes haha
Mike: can joyce pick me up, i'll be home alone later
Will: yeah we can come get you at like what 4?
Mike: that works, well i have to get going i'll see you guys at lunch
El: bye
*later at the byers*
Max: did you get another letter yet *max says shutting there bedroom door*
El: yeah i guess his name is derek
Max: wait like popular jock derek?
El: i guess
Max: dude he's a total asshole
El: yeah, should i tell mike though
Max: hell probably try to beat derek up and then loose if you tell him
El: thats what im worried about
Max: tell him another time just not now, i wanna watch the karate kid
El: downstairs?
Max: yeah i don't wanna listen to what will and mike are going to talk about
El: true
Max: come on i'll make popcorn
El: fine
*ten min later*
Max: here's your popcorn
El: thanks, when is mike coming over joyce
Joyce: were picking him up in 10
Will: can we just go now, i don't wanna see hot guys do karate
Max: one that's not the point of the movie
Will: you sure?
Max: whatever and two how do you know there hot
Will: i uh i don't i'm just guessing
Joyce: ok then, i guess we can go get him now

*they leave*
Max: you can't deny that ralph has some nice abs
El: WHY ARE YOU LOOKING MAX!
Max: what's wrong with looking at a guys abs *shrugs her shoulders*
El: you have lucas
Max: yeah but there's nothing wrong with liking a celebrity, wait pause the movie, i'll be right back
*max runs upstairs and grbas the new poster she got and runs down stairs*
Max: i meen look at him! *holds up the poster of ralph m*
El: where did you get that max
Max: the mall?*hands it to el*
*joyce, will, and mike walk in the door*
Will: what the hell
Mike: uh
Max: chill, its just a poster we got for are room
Will: of a guy?
Joyce: It's normal, everyone does it.  You should have seen my room
Will: ew
*max and el sit down on the couch*
Will: well were going upstairs
Max: k, i left some popcorn on the counter if you guys want it
Mike: thanks
*the boys run upstairs to wills room*
Max: boys are annoying sometimes
Joyce: sometimes? *laughs*
El: true
*max turns the movie back on*
Joyce: i'll be in my room if you girls need me
El: ok
*joyce goes to her room*
-in wills room-
Will: els been different lately
Mike: i don't know i mean she's a teenage girl so i mean she's going to change and stuff
Will: true but she's usually so nice
Mike: i guess

ELS POV-
Today was a girl named Lila's birthday, everyone in her grade was invited.  Me, max, and will. we're getting dropped off at her house along with everyone else after school.  I was excited but scared because Derek might be there.  I probably should tell Mike but I don't want them to fight or get into any trouble.

Joyce: ok kids have fun, I'll be back in 4 hours
Max: thanks
*they walk inside and say happy birthday to Lila and go sit on the couch*
Mike: hey guys
Will: hey
*el just waves her hand slightly*
El: hi
Mike: Lucas and dustin should be here soon
El: uh before I forget can I talk to you
Mike: uh I guess
*max pays her on the back and they walk upstairs*
El: I don't want you to be mad but I know who the letter are from
Mike: letters? You got more then one?!
El: yeah, sorry
Mike: well who is it
El: Derek
Mike: your kidding right
El: no
*after talking they walk downstairs to get a drink and sit down next to the party*
*derek walks over*
Derek: sup Ellie
El: please don't call me that
Derek: whatever, do you wanna hang out sometime *he says while smirking*
El: no thank you I have a boyfriend
Derek: does that really matter Ellie
Mike: leave her alone dude
Derek: ohhhhh frog face is your date?
Mike: shut up *mike stands up and slaps him*
Derek: you really want to slap me?
Lucas: mike stop
Derek: my turn asswat *derek punches mike across the face and it starts bleeding*
Derek walked away and El called Joyce to have Ms Wheeler pick up mike. She picked everyone else in the party off and dropped off Lucas and Dustin at their house.  She took Will Max and I home.
El: can i just go see him, i feel bad
Joyce: he's in pain el
El: that gives me even more reasons to go see him
Joyce: fine but call ms wheeler first
*el gets in the phone*
El: ms wheeler
Karen: el?
El: hey yeah, sorry to bother but its still pretty early, can i come over to see mike i feel bad
Karen: yeah sure, he's in his room but i don't mind you coming over
El: ok see you in 10
*she hangs up*
El: can you drive me
Joyce: yeah grab my keys
*they arrive at mikes*
Joyce: call me if your sleeping over and if not
El: ok thanks
*el gets out and rings the doorbell*
Karen: hey he's upstairs
El: thanks
*el knocks on his door*
Mike: mom for the last time i don't need anything
El: it's not your mom mike *she opens the door*
Mike: oh uh sorry i didn't know you were coming over
El: i was just coming to say sorry and see how you were doing
Mike: you don't have to be sorry i shouldn't have hit him *he looks over at el and sees her shaking* Are you cold?
El: kinda but im fine
Mike: you sure
El: i mean if your asking to cuddle i wouldn't say no but
*she sits on his bed and lays next to him*
Mike: oh uh sorry, i don't have a shirt on i can put one on if it would make you feel comfortable
El: its fine
Mike: oh ok well my mom told me derek got grounded so i guess that's a plus
El: yeah it is
Mike: are you ok?
El: yeah i just feel bad
Mike: i said you don't have to feel bad el
El: fine fine, let me just call joyce to say i'm staying
Mike: ok
*time jump 1 week on a wednesday during school*
Max: do you wanna skip again
El: we can skip 2 times a week?
Max: it's not like there's a rule, well were not really supposed to at all but yeah i mean i guess
El: I'm in, where should we go?
Max: mall?
El: deal
Max: just like last time don't tell anyone
El: ok so what class period
Max: 3?
El: see ya then
*the bell rings*
El: you ready
Max: heck yeah
*all the kids walk to class*
Max: ok everyones walking around come on hurry up
*they run out the door and go to the mall*
-in math class-
Lucas: psh mike
Mike: what lucas, im taking a test
Lucas: where are max and el
Mike: there probably just in the bathroom
Lucas: or there skipping
Math teacher: mr wheeler and mr sinclair keep talking and i'll fail both of you on those tests
*the last bell of the days rings and max and el run into school and grab their bags from there lockers and run out for joyce to pick them up*
*they get in the car and will looks at them*
Will: where were y-
Max: the bathroom, we were washing uh pudding, yeah pudding out of my hair right el
El: yup
*they get home and run up to there room*
Max: *max shuts the door* that was so close *she falls on the floor laughing*
El: I KNOW RIGHT!
*the phone in there room rings*
El: i'll get it
*she picks up the phone*
Mike: el?
El: oh hey
Mike: where were you all day el
El: in classes duh
Mike: el dont lie to me, we have like 3 classes together
El: *looks over at max and max grabs the phone from her*
Max: el was having some issues, we were in the bathroom for a pretty long time
Mike: issues? Is she ok? What kind of issues?
Max: she's fine she just *she looks at el and el nods her head* girl issues
Mike: oh uh does she need anything? I can come over to help
Max: no were going to watch a movie and do homework and she's fine mike, your the one that just got beat up
Mike: fine, tell her i said i love her and she can uh call me anytime she needs anything
Max: yeah yeah *hangs up*
El: he really believed we were in the bathroom for like 4 hours?
Max: i guess so *she laughs*
El: i feel bad for lying but the mall was even more fun than school
Max: way more fun
