"Breathe, Taehyung. You need to breathe."
No Papa I can't, I can't breathe.
"Once a fish is caught, the water becomes indivisible in its place. You will not be the water, son."
I hear the sound of birds chirping. What is that melody?
My chest hurts. I can't breathe.
"Don't you remember my powers? Don't you remember what happened? Taehyung you have to remember."
I don't remember. My chest hurts.
"Your hyung isn't far away. He is here with us again. He is here."
I can hear birds chirping.
"You have to remember."
The court cleared as the mentor faced his student, adjusting the leather gloves on his hands with a smirk across his face. Taehyung felt the buzzing in his hands, cracking his knuckles in preparation.
He didn't know what to expect, after all, it seemed rare a mentor would go against a student one on one. Then again, Taehyung was quite the rare case.
Skye rubbed at his throat a little, "my throat is pretty powerful you know..."
"I'm sure it is," Taehyung rolled his eyes a little and Skye chuckled. "Namjoon would know! Ayoooo!"
Namjoon only shook his head, "stop harassing me." Skye shrugged a little with a grin, before facing Taehyung again who was ready for battle—or as ready as he could be.
"You know, your class period ended. These students who are watching...are A class," Skye informed and Taehyung's eyes went wide.
His throat went dry, "A class students..?? You didn't tell me that!"
"They've heard the rumors. I'm sure they'd love to see a sneak peak of the new hero," Skye glanced over and Taehyung's eyes followed, seeing the iconic seven students sitting on the sidelines. They even looked A class, each of them in their own specialty-made training suits that applies to their abilities as well as their code names. More than anything, they seemed curious.
"Don't you think this is a bit extreme?" Taehyung asked worriedly and Skye shrugged. "Eh, let the fight begin then run your mouth, angel," he grinned and Taehyung blushed, staring down at the ground as the whistle blew.
"Don't be a stranger," Skye reminded as he approached Taehyung with a quick fist, and quickly Taehyung dodged but stumbled slightly to the left. Another fist came and luckily he caught it with his own, pushing back on his hold until a loud shriek to his face caused Taehyung to stumble back and fall, hitting his head against the ground which caused his ears to ring.
"Pick yourself up, Karma!" Skye rolled his shoulders as if it were nothing to him. Taehyung slowly got himself up, holding his head with a wince and the A class students continued to watch.
"This is a fight, not a beat down. Throw something at me," Skye said and Taehyung clenched his fist, going in for a punch and a kick that Skye dodged, by grabbing his leg and twisting it around his waist, then proceeded to push him back into the ground.
But before he could fall, red magic pushed him back up where he pushed Skye back slightly.
"Hm, nice. But don't get cocky," he informed before crouching, giving a smooth kick that Taehyung jumped over quickly and lifted his hands to create friction between the air and cause a gust of wind to blow Skye back.
Taehyung watched Skye's every movement, something the mentor noticed and noted into his mind. Taehyung tried to collect more raw matter but a Shriek caused the ground to come up in a wave almost, knocking Taehyung back into the air before plummeting back into the floor.
