They faced one another as the invisible line was crossed between them inside of the arena.

"This brings me back to the old days," Seokjin admitted as he watched Skye put on his collar and turn it on. "Back when we used to...train together. Before everything started," he added as he wrapped bandages around his knuckles.

"That was when we were still so lost on what it meant to be heroes," Skye admitted. "Especially me."

Skye turned with a smirk, "but we have to let the past be past sometimes, right?"

Seokjin didn't really respond, only readied himself up as they prepared for a good training session.

"Go!" Seokjin suddenly called and suddenly ran towards Skye, only for Skye to turn and for Seokjin to run right through him. Once Skye solidified again he turned and kicked Seokjin harshly in his side which sent him tumbling.

Seokjin got himself up with a shake and they begun to fight hand on hand, countering each other perfectly with almost every move they made.

Seokjin did an uppercut motion which caused Skye's lips to get hit, making him smirk even more. "It's been a while since you've hit me this hard....why don't you go harder..," Skye chuckled between their fighting.

"Don't make this weird," Seokjin pouted before they pushed off one another.

"I'm making this exciting," Skye argued before they went at it again, dust flying everywhere as they countered again and again, throwing kicks and punches, screams and having multiple Seokjin's thrown at once.

Until they were both on one knee exhausted.

"You know...this really does bring me back," Seokjin admitted as he wiped the sweat from off of his forehead, getting up from the ground. "Back to our days at the Isle, with Yoonji...with Namjoon and Jihyo."

"That was a lifetime ago," Skye reminded. "Everyone we were then, and everything we are now is different."

"Not exactly," Seokjin licked his lips when feeling them dry. "We haven't completely changed. We are still the same people...with those same memories."

Skye scoffed with a smirk, rolling his shoulders back a little to stretch them out. "You think we haven't changed...when in reality you've changed the most."

"What?"

"You act like you don't realize it, and you do. But you're stuck in the past, Jin," Skye told while pointing his finger at him. "Having those memories are one thing, but you keep trying to live inside of them."

"That's ridiculous..." Seokjin gulped.

"Whatever you say," Skye shrugged, taking off his collar. "I'm not saying this for no reason, you know."

"I know. But you're wrong."

Skye was about to respond before he heard the sound of quick feet.

"Skye!" Taehyung called, hopping over the wall of the arena and toward the two mentors who stared at the boy with the same expression.

"Hyung? What are you two doing..? Are you fighting..?" Taehyung asked worriedly for a moment but Skye shook his head and grabbed his hands. "No, no just some training. No fighting here," Skye assured him in a soft voice.

Taehyung immediately calmed down, their hands intertwining all on their own. The two shared a small kiss and Seokjin watched with a dark look. A small wince made Taehyung pull away, and that's when he noticed Skye's busted lips. "Aish...really, Skye. You need to be more careful," he gently rubbed his thumb against the wound on his lower lip.
