Chapter 30- I Can't Breathe

The explosions shook the ground, smoke filling the air as the other side of the arena begun to break down. The students begun to scream out in confusion and fright.

The mentors immediately went into protective mode, "everyone, prepare yourselves, I think we are under attack..!" Namjoon announced loudly.

"Students make your way into the underground bunker, try to protect yourselves the most you can," Yoonji advised, floating in the air with her magic leaving her hands. "B-Rank you can stand in defense, but A-Rank we must fight back and stand guard."

"But, but Soyeon is gone," Mark nervously told, the girl having disappeared into thin air in the midst of the explosions.

"Nevertheless, we must fight back," Chungha, the leader of them wrapped her bandages around her fists. "Minji," she called, the girl jumping a little. "Fight with us, you're one of us now."

Minji nodded unsurely, hearing the explosions continue outside of the arena as she snow continued to fall faster as she raised her shaking fists.

"I will scan the area," Yoonji told the other mentors, flying up into the air and toward where the explosions were going off.

"I will gather the students," Seokjin told, before multiplying into multiple versions of himself and went to gather the students as the arena's walls begun to crumble down.

Smoke begun to fill the air and Yoonji noticed there were some sort of creatures attacking the sides of the west end of the arena. Carefully she begun to move her arms around, creating a large field across the side of the arena using her magic.

"There are creatures, but they blend with the snow," Yoonji warned loudly, keeping her hands held up to focus the shield. "I can't tell what kind of creatures they are either!"

"What do we do?!" Chaeah asked loudly, both her and Hoseok glancing to Taehyung who kept glancing around, trying to find Jackson. He didn't see him anywhere.

"According to the mentors we can stand guard if we want to," Hoseok gulped, just before another explosion sent smoke and dirt into the air. "But I don't know if I want to."

"I don't think we can. We have to go," Jisoo pulled Chaeah and Hoseok, noticing Taehyung was almost lost in something, as if he were looking for someone.

"What's going on?!" Jimin shouted before Jisoo hurried over. "No idea, but we have to get out of here," she told.

"I can speed us out," Hoseok told in a shaky voice. "One at a time though."

"Take Jisoo first," Yoongi advised. "She is still injured."

"I can help," Chaeah spouted her wings. "Don't focus on fighting. Let's just get everyone out," she said before flapping her wings harshly, sending her flying up into the air only to see another explosion on the north side, causing the top wall to slid off like an avalanche. Her dark wings became covered in snow quickly, showing how much the storm was picking up.

Hoseok grabbed Jisoo, before speeding out of the arena, coming back and doing the same with a few others nearby.

One of the Seokjin's noticed what the group were doing, but didn't interfere. Instead, he further encouraged it, "follow them!" he told the C-Students who hurried over to the exits.

Due to a portal opened by Yoonji, the A-Ranks quickly made their way to the fight and fought back against the mysterious snow creatures.

Chungha ran to one of them, lifting her leg and kicking it across the head, sending it flying across the fields with her superhuman charge. From there she grabbed a rope from around her waist and begun to tangle multiple at once, twisting around and around before throwing the load straight into the air and far off somewhere.
