After what happened earlier, Minji spent the rest of her day locked inside of her new room.

The mental and emotional wreckage was enough to make her lose all of her energy. She didn't even have the physical confidence to pack her luggage for the trip to New York City.

Being an A-Rank student may have had the sparkling perks and status, but the process was something horrific. Even Minji, who felt like nothing could get in her way, somehow had everything shoved into her head.

And everything outside of it, even being a normal person seemed hard now.

All she could hope, all that anyone could hope for....was that this trip, New York City, will guide them all to a new light.

And maybe, that could really happen.

The morning had barely started, and it was already a chaotic mess.

Large travel buses were parked in front of the school, with the underneath gates opened up wide to fit their luggage inside. The sun had barely risen, and all of the students were woken up.

As Song brushed his teeth, Jackson appeared next to him.

"Rise and shine, Princess," Song teased, before spitting into the sink. Jackson ignored him, and washed his face.

"You know, I think this trip is going to be interesting," Song tried, and Jackson dried his face with a towel nearby.

"Oh yeah? What makes you think that? You better not have anything up your sleeve," Jackson huffed.

"Better me than you, it seems. Father has noticed we aren't getting anything done," Song mentioned. "Or at least, on your half of the bargain."

"I thought he'd be leisure after our failed attempt a few days ago," Jackson shrugged, throwing his shirt off as he tried to find a cleaner one. "And the fact we're going on a trip."

"His main objective is to get the ring, yes. But not mine. I am able to enjoy this trip, and get close to whom I desire," Song explained. "After all, I've been meeting new people...making new friends. I even met your boyfriend."

"Good for you," Jackson found a shirt, stretching it out before sliding it onto his body. "But don't get comfortable. You think you know who you're dealing with, but you don't."

"What do you mean by that?" he asked.

"Taehyung isn't an easy force to be reckoned with. I've seen him use his powers, and they're beyond even him. The second you mess up, it's over for your ass. And father can send you back to your little institution," Jackson smirked. He turned his back to him, "Where you belong."

Song let out a small huff with a grin, "just because Yonghwan failed the first time doesn't mean I'm bound to be any similar. Because all he had to deal with was a noisy little anti-hero.....but now he has a mastermind."

Jackson turned, noticing a smug expression on his face.

The conversation came to a close as the smallest of the three finally entered the bathroom, grabbing his toiletry bag on the sink, getting between them.

"Are you excited about the trip?" Taehyung asked Song, turning away from Jackson altogether.

"Sure. It's hard to believe they're pushing things to quickly," Song mentioned, following Taehyung out of the bathroom and back into their room. The three suitcases were close to the door, and Taehyung could finally zip his up now that he had his bag.

"Probably because the mentors are as excited as we are...maybe," Taehyung tugged at the zipper until it finally made its way up to close.

"Or because flights are probably cheap today," Jackson added, grabbing the handle of his own suitcase and balancing his weight on it.
