A few days had passed since that day.
Everyone begun to grow closer to Yoongi, who was finally starting to open up...blossoming into a flower he never knew was withered inside of him. Jisoo also felt this, warmth growing around her heart...and was developing these emotions and thoughts she never considered before. And they, despite not fully knowing, were doing it together.
Jimin and Minji tried their best efforts in those four days to figure out something new, to not much avail. But they wouldn't give up yet.
Solbi noticed the two grow closer in a mysterious way, but tried not to focus on it or think negatively toward it.
The A-Rank Games were only a day away now, and all of the students were preparing for it. Training hard, even getting extra time to focus on their abilities.
Taehyung didn't completely understand it, why students would want to leave their own group mates behind in order to become an independent hero. Maybe to fulfill their destiny, or maybe to feel stronger.
Maybe he didn't understand, because he was already destined for something. Something he still quite didn't understand.
That morning he woke up with bright golden sun shining over his face, illuminating dust through the air while striking down in rays through the opened window. He held up his hand a little to block it, feeling the warmth through his fingers which caused him to hum.
He rolled over, only to notice a lump next to him. Skye was facing him, still sleeping with his lips curled and eyes shut extra gently.
Taehyung's eyes widened slightly as he remembered the nights events, realizing now why the covers felt so light against his body. A hand reached up from underneath the covers, touching Skye's face.
He squeezed his cheeks between his fingers, causing him to smile slowly. He couldn't have felt more in love, especially after experiencing something so intimate for the first time.
Jackson woke up to no warmth, no sun, only a dark cement wall next to his pillow. He coughed slightly as he inhaled his first breath of air for the day, sitting up slowly and let the small blanket fall from off of his knees.
He couldn't help but to imagine a warmth there next to him, filling the emptiness in both the space and inside of his heart.
And he could only imagine one person.
"Jackson~ Stop tickling me..!"
Jackson almost smiled at the thought, reaching up to touch his lips after feeling the quick instinctive action. It hurt, more than any wound in battle or harsh word from his father. It hurt knowing what he could've had.
"Once I get that ring...I'll find you," Jackson mumbled to himself. "I'll make it up to you...to everyone," he added quietly under his breath.
Jimin woke up only to see Yoongi staring out the window towards the sunrise, his earphones over his head playing a song he couldn't quite hear. When seeing the sun, immediate goosebumps littered over his body as a single thought rushed to his mind. Or rather, a person.
All of them watched the sunrise from their bedrooms...all except for one who stood in the large field behind the school and walked toward it endlessly.
Even if the dew on the grass was covering her feet, it felt nice against the bare bottoms of her soles. The warmth almost blew through her hair like the wind.
Solbi opened her eyes, staring towards the sun with sparkling yellow and orange eyes.
In that moment, it seemed everyone was connected...all from the sun.
