"Papa what are we doing?" little Taehyung asked as his father walked across the graveyard late at night. "It's scary here."
"Don't be scared, I'm here okay? We just have to do something, it won't take but a minute," his father told in a calming voice, before they arrived at Seokjin's grave. Taehyung looked at the headstone confusedly, "we visit Jinnie hyung while he sleeping??"
His father didn't respond, only grabbed his shovel and begun to dig at the unhardened dirt shaped into a rectangle. Taehyung sat on the grass next to the headstone.
"It was really cool, Jinnie hyung. There were all these toy cars!! I wanted one so bad but daddy said not until later," the little one giggles while talking to the stone. "I hope you can wake up soon so we can play toy cars again. You can be the red one just like you want to, I can be the blue," he grinned so brightly. He was too innocent.
His father kept on digging, up until he felt large metal underneath the tip of the shovel and he quickly brushed it all off. To reveal the smaller white casket underneath the ground.
"Stay up here, Taehyung. If you fall in you may get hurt," his father told and Taehyung only nods and continued talking to the gravestone.
"I can make little wisp-ys now. See?" Taehyung made little red wisps appear around his hands. "I am getting so good, Jinnie hyung."
His father stepped out of the hole, now carrying something in his arms. Taehyung stood up as his father turned around, only to see Seokjin in his father's arms again.
Taehyung stared at Seokjin, seeing how pale he seemed to be and he was dressed up in a little suit. He wondered why he wasn't in his pajamas.
Taehyung felt tears appearing in his eyes and his father noticed. "He will be okay, Taehyung. Right now he is only sleeping," his father told him and Taehyung rubbed at his eyes.
"But Jinnie hyung was hurting...is he not hurting anymore?"
"No of course not, he doesn't feel any pain anymore. And soon enough he will come back to us," his father stared down at Seokjin and Taehyung looked down, seeing the red wisps now leaving his hands uncontrollably.
Those same tears fell from his face as he relived every single memory all over again that his brain tried to hide from him. From the moment he died, his funeral, digging him up and even when he came back to life. It was all so overwhelmingly distinctive.
Skye saw those tears falling from his eyes and Seokjin managed to wipe them away with a soft tissue.
Soon enough his eyes opened, except they were glowing red for a moment. "Taehyung..." Skye shook him a little and the red glowing faded away as he came to his senses.
Taehyung looked to Skye, before looking to his brother who stood right next to him. "I'm so sorry, Tae Tae..."
They both latched onto each other.
Taehyung begun to sob into his brother's shoulder, holding onto him so tightly as he let out every emotion he wasn't able to feel in seventeen years. Seokjin felt himself crying too as the two held each other tightly.
Skye stood and watched the sight silently, his arms crossed as he watched the two exchange their mutual sorrow.
Taehyung cupped his cheek, "they—I-I watched...they..."
"Shhhh, it's okay," Seokjin whispered with a sniffle. "It's okay. It was a long time ago."
"Jin hyung..." Taehyung cried more and Seokjin only hugged him tighter. It was quiet between them apart from the cries until he spoke up again.
