With the breaking of the last board on the door, dust flew into the abandoned hallway leading to the different rooms around the house. Skye stepped in first, grabbing Taehyung's hand to help him step over the boards.

Taehyung inhaled slightly, his eyes looking around. All he felt was nostalgia warming and squeezing at his chest.

"This is where it happened?" Skye asked as he noticed the ground was covered in dirty broken glass, along with old bullet barbells that have been bent out of different shapes.

"It's where everything happened," Taehyung responded, almost speechless. He lifted up his hands, moving them around which caused the red light to appear, and soon enough a vision of memories appeared. A small Taehyung ran to catch up to a small Seokjin, the two giggling and running around laughing.

Skye put the old bullet down, seeing the memory unfolding around them, both realities becoming intertwined. "I didn't know you knew how to create illusions..." he commented.

"Neither did I."

Skye turned his head to face him, seeing Taehyung staring back at him with his eyes turned red. He moved his hands, causing the illusion to disappear. "I guess this isn't the time to be doing this. We have to look around for any evidence," he told.

"Actually, I found something already. Over here near the windows," Skye lifted one of the bullets from out of the glass.

Taehyung stared down at the bullet, letting out a breath of air harshly through his nose. "I don't think we will find anything here," Skye admits. "I hate to say it, but all that's here is remnants of the past. We are already on a timed schedule," he added.

"But there has to be something here," Taehyung shakes his head, not wanting to admit.

"Your father is a well known CEO, why don't you just...ask him?" Skye asked. "Like durrr."

"I can't. I haven't spoken to him in months, and he'd never tell me the truth anyway. He wouldn't even tell Jin hyung the truth and he is the one who suffered the most," Taehyung responded, his voice wavering as he clenched his fist.

Skye noticed, grabbing his hand which eased the tension. "Honestly..it could've been anyone. I know you think it may be some huge crime boss drug lord type shit but I don't think it's that simple. It could be just some prick who didn't get his way and Seokjin got in the middle," Skye told in a soft voice.

Taehyung held onto his hand, "it just doesn't seem right. This should be what proves me as a hero."

"This doesn't have to be that moment. This doesn't have to be your fight," Skye told, and Taehyung clenched his fist around his hand.

"But then what is my fight? What am I destined to do?"

"Let me tell you, darling, time and destiny is confusing as FUCK. You are only destined for what you make for yourself. Don't let any painting on a wall or prophecy control your life," Skye told him with a small smirk. Taehyung chuckled a little, and Skye did the same.

"I guess you are right. I'm sorry for bringing you all the way here," Taehyung sighed.

"It's fine, it was nice to get away from...everything," Skye sighed with him. "Let's get back to the Ass-cademy now. Seokjin is probably busting a nut at the fact you aren't there."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, "you mean 'vein'? not nut?"

Skye blushed. "Oops..."

The two arrived back at the ship, Skye attempted to turn it on—by just punching the control pad repeatedly until it turned on and begun to operate.
