Back on the battlefield, as if nothing had happened. Students used their abilities to compete and train, to find their inner peace within their hero and soul. To find their balance between good and evil.
The Newbies, down one member, felt pressured that they were left down to three for the time being. Especially since it was squad against squad per usual.
They were trying to figure out somehow through the intense training who the culprit could be—which no one thought made any sense.
Jimin noticed Solbi from afar, feeling a bit confused when seeing her standing off on her own again near the mentors rather than with him or their friends. He noticed her hands were shaking while she leaned against the railing, glancing side to side in a nervous tangent. He could immediately tell something was wrong with her for sure. "Sol—"
"Oppa!" Jennie approached her brother, causing him to turn away in annoyance. "What's with the honorifics?" he asked confusedly.
"Well, I wanted to ask you if you knew what was going on with Taehyung. We haven't seen him in a few days, is he really still back at the island?" Jennie asked. Jimin sighed, "I don't know anything. It's not our business anyway."
"He is our friend! Aren't you worried about him?" Jennie asked.
"Taehyung is stronger than any of us. He can handle himself, I am sure he is just fine wherever he is, Jennie," he smiled. She rolled her eyes, "based off of his training you really think he is strong enough?"
"You don't?" he asked, causing her to just walk away out of annoyance. It was obvious Jennie wanted to involve herself in Taehyung's business for no reason other than the fact she envies him in a crushing way. It was pathetic.
As much as Jimin didn't want to admit it, his sister was really a bitch. If she turned out to be the one behind everything, he wouldn't be very surprised.
The Newbies entered the practice arena, the three of them going against Jisoo and Jungkook.
"Isn't this a bit unfair? Three against two..." Jisoo pouted a little.
"Hmm...I guess you are right. I'll add one more," Yoonji hopped down from the stands. She walked across to face the students, scanning her eyes over all of them. It took her a moment, before she smirked.
"Let's add Soyeon in," Yoonji suggested before going back to the stands. This caused the crowd of students to awe and become excited.
Soyeon hopped into the arena, wearing her specially made suit that fit her name and ability. "Happy to be working with you," she winked to both Jungkook and Jisoo. Jisoo didn't really do anything but gulp, and Jungkook simply gave her a thumbs up and a nod.
Chaeah didn't really react, Hoseok only became nervous while Jackson could only stare at her and remember what had happened. It was all because of her.
So when Soyeon sent him a little wink.
He filled with rage.
The whistle blew, and Chaeah sprouted large black wings and took off into the air. Hoseok immediately ran to dodge an attack while Jackson ran to Soyeon.
Jisoo shape-shifted into a Phoenix, flying after Chaeah into the air as the two twirled and flew around each other, hitting marks on each other ever so often. A portal opened, a large demon arm reaching from out of the ground, pulling Jisoo down from the air quickly—the portal closing as soon as she hit the ground. Chaeah landed on the ground, closing her wings for the moment as she approached Jisoo.
