Olivia POV

Today is the last day of training which I'm upset about because that means I have to leave Morgan once again. We're rooming with Carli and Alex which has actually been going better than expected. We fully expected that Carli would separate Morgan and I for which bed we stayed in, but she hasn't. I have a feeling Alex has something to do with that.

I wake up in Morgan's arms and see she is still asleep so I cuddle into her more. That is until Carli throws a pillow at us. "Aunt Carlos!" I yell at her.

She yells right back, "You're too close!"

Morgan woke up from the pillow and I didn't even notice she was already out of bed. I stuck my tongue out at Carli before getting out of bed myself. I put on one of mama's Portland practice jerseys which caught Morgan's attention.

She pouted at me a bit, "Why aren't you wearing one of my jersey's babe?" I laughed at her pout before telling her she hasn't given me one. "Well as soon as I get home I am mailing one to you!" I laughed and told her okay before we headed down for practice.

Practice was going fine and I saw Charlie was over with Mom and Willow near the goal. It looked like Mom was giving Charlie tips or something. The forwards and defenders were all distracted doing drills with each other when I noticed that there wasn't anyone who would get me in trouble with the midfielders.

I slowly jogged over there when I came face to face with my girlfriend. "Liv, what are you doing over here? You know you aren't allowed to practice."

I shrugged her off, "I want to play and I promise to be careful. Are you going to tell?" She looked conflicted before shaking her head and giving me a lecture that I better be extremely careful.

We were working on headers when Lindsey and I went up for the same one causing our heads to collide. It hurt a lot, but not nearly as much as it did when her whole body landed on my knee. I bit my lip to hold back my scream. I definitely did not need moms to know what happened.

"Liv! Holy shit!" Morgan ran over and slid down next to me. "Are you okay?" I weakly nodded my head before rolling over onto my stomach and cried into the ground.

"I'll go get the trainers okay?" Morgan said before running off. Lindsey had gotten up but then came over to me when she saw me still on the ground.

"Fuck Liv I am so sorry. I never should have went up for the ball. I just didn't see you and couldn't catch myself once we collided." Lindsey started rambling out before I shushed her.

"Linds, it's fine. I know you didn't do it on purpose." I told her while tears were still pouring out of me.

Kelley POV

All of the girls started running over to the part of the field where middies were supposed to be practicing. Everyone who wasn't there yet started making there way over because there were several trainers surrounding whoever was on the ground.

I looked over to the bench and didn't see Liv which made me a bit nervous but I assumed she had gone to the bathroom or something. Hope and Charlie catch up to me and we start talking.

"Do you know who it is?" I ask my wife. Hope shakes her head as we arrive over there.

As soon as I saw my Portland practice jersey on the hurt girls back I take off. "Hope! It's Liv!"

I slid down next to her, "Livie? Livie what's going on?"

Hope and Charlie were right behind me when a trainer asked me to stand back. "Her and Lindsey went up for a header and collided heads. When they fell, Lindsey landed on Olivia's head." One of the trainers explained.

They rolled Liv onto the back and you could see the bruising forming on her knee. I crawled back towards her. "Livie, why were you out here? You know you are still hurt."

She had some tears in her eyes still when she looked over to me. "I know Mama. I just wanted to play. I didn't think something would happen. I miss soccer so much."

I kissed her forehead, "I know sweetheart, but now you're out even longer probably." She nodded her head and I reached out to grab her hand which she instantly grabbed back as they were examining her on the field still.

They decided that Liv would be okay and didn't need to go to the hospital which we were all relieved about. The trainers helped get her into the locker room before coach called everyone but my family out for a team meeting. I'm assuming she's going to talk about if someone is hurt or yourself is hurt, you do not allow them to play or something along the lines of that.

Hope and I were alone in the locker room with the girls and their dogs. Both girls were cuddling the dogs because they probably sensed we were upset. Before we could talk Liv spoke up, "I know I'm in trouble, but you're not going to take away my meals are you?" She asked with fear evident in her eyes.

Hope and I were frozen in shock, but luckily Charlie intervened. Charlie scooted closer to her sister, "Livie no. You're meals won't be taken away. I promise," Liv shoved her face into Charlie's chest and sobbed.

I didn't understand why Liv was so upset or so fearful and I don't think Hope understood either. Until it dawned on me that Liv hasn't ever really gotten into trouble. Charlie has a few times, but it was because she wasn't used to having people look out for her. Liv's not used to it either, she just hasn't really done anything.

I went and sat next to Liv who tensed. I had to take a deep breath at that and remind myself she was not afraid of me, but afraid of her past. "Olivia, we would never ever do anything to hurt you or Charlotte. You know that right? You may get grounded in some shape or form, but nothing that would ever cause physical or mental harm."

Liv didn't say anything but reach over to hug me, "I know Mama. I'm sorry for practicing when I shouldn't have and I'm sorry for freaking out." I told her it was okay before hugging her tighter.

Hope spoke up finally, "Charlotte and Olivia... mama and I are extremely proud of the both of you. Even if you still sometimes don't care or forget to worry about your own health, you have come so far in the time we have known you. We love you both." She said as she kissed Charlie's head and then walked over to kiss Liv's head.

Today wasn't a great training day, but we made some progress with the girls, which is always a good thing in my eyes.
