Ch. 18 - Young Love

Charlotte POV

We are on our way to Mom and Mama's training camp and I'm feeling kind of crummy about it. I had surgery a week or so ago so I am not allowed to practice with them, but Livie can.

I guess a good thing about it is I get to see Mom and Mama do their thing along with seeing Becky.

We are training in Pensacola Florida which means the whole team is staying in the hotel together. We don't know the roommate situation, but we kind of know who will most likely be together. Moms will probably be together, Krashlyn together, Preath together, Carlex, and Liv and I will be together most likely. Everyone else will be a little more random.

We finally get to the hotel and immediately head to the conference room to get a brief and our roommate assignments from their coach. The assignments were pretty much as expected.

After we got our assignments we all headed up to our rooms when Liv pulled me to the side.

"Hey sis?" Liv asked.

"What's up?" I asked her.

"Do you think you and Mal could swap rooms? I just haven't gotten to see her in awhile and wanted to spend more time with her."

Knowing how much my sister was crushing on Mal, I nodded my head yes and made my way up to my new room. I got right outside of the door when I realized Mal was supposed to be rooming with Becky... Which means I am now rooming with Becky. I'm going to die.

I walk into the room and toss my stuff to the floor before falling face first onto the bed. I hear a door open so I look up and see Becky walking out of the bathroom in a towel.

I blush red and look away quickly, "Sorry Becks!"

She just laughs a bit, "It's okay, just give me a second to put on some clothes."

After a minute she had put on a sports bra and some compression shorts before she told me it was okay to look.

I was still blushing madly so I slowly looked up and she was smiling.

"Not that I mind the company, but what are you doing in here? ... With your stuff?" Becky asked me with an eyebrow raised.

"Uh Liv asked if Mal and I would swap so they could spend time together. I think they like each other or something." I answered honestly.

"Well duh they like each other. I swear Liv is the only person Mal ever talks about."

That piped my curiosity. "Well we can't let my moms know that because Mama will have to hold Mom back from interrogating the hell out of Mal."

"I don't think they have to worry about Hope. Kelley was the interrogator last time." Becks said.

"Last time?" I asked her super confused.

"Uhh don't worry about it." Becks said quickly before she asked if we wanted to order some food and watch a show or something which I agreed to.

We ended up ordering sushi and sat in Becky's bed so we could watch Tiger King on Netflix. Apparently we were both exhausted because we both fell asleep with me wrapped in Becky's arms.
