Chapter 3: Herbology Class

I woke up bright and early the next day. The girls were still asleep and it was quiet outside. I did my usual morning routine, took a bath, brushed my hair and formed it into my new cute braid. I grabbed my textbooks, my reading book and headed out. As I exited the dormitory, surprisingly Draco was sitting on the couch near the fire. Neither Crabbe nor Goyle was with him.

"Draco.... you're up early. Where's Crabbe and Goyle" I said in a dull voice. Draco stood up and went closer to me.

"Morning to you too y/n. Well, Crabe and Goyle are still asleep....." said Draco with a smile. Draco continued "I was wondering why you stormed out last night..... Did I say something wrong?".

I shooked my head and said "You said I changed physically, and that was pretty rude for you to say. Not gonna lie". I said with annoyance.

Draco looked at me with confusion and chuckled a bit. "What I meant last night was... you got taller. I didn't mean the other thing, the uhm *cough* weight".

Ohhh so he meant my height not my body weight. Oops, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. "Sorry Draco, I thought you meant about my weight". I said with embarrasement.

Draco laughed "It's alright. Look I know that it's rude when it comes to girls about their weight. I know that they're insecure about it but.... I don't really mind". said Draco in a calm voice. I just chuckled

"Well.... see you in Herbology Class Draco". I started to walk towards the door.

Draco immediately grabbed my wrist and asked "Where are you going? It's still very early in the morning. Class is going to start in an hour or two....". I looked back at him and said "First I'll go to the Great Hall for food then I'll be at my favorite place in Hogwarts".

He let go of my hand and I slowly went out. Before I leave he said "Save a spot for us would you y/n? In Herbology Class?". I turned back and said "Sure thing Draco". Then I left without another word.

As I exited the Common Room, I started to read my book. I was walking slowly towards the Great Hall not until someone bumped me, I almost fell down

"Hey! Watch where you're-" as I looked up, it was Prof. Snape. I am so screwed. I am soooo screwed!

"Miss l/n, are you blind as a bat?". said Prof. Snape in a serious tone.

"I am so so sorry Professor! I-I thought you were a student....". I said with an apologetic voice. I slowly walked past him but he stopped me.

"Miss l/n, where are you going so early in the morning? Class is still starting in an hour".

I answered "I-I'm going to the Great Hall for breakfast then I'm going to my favorite place, which I assume you already know....".

He raised one eyebrow at me and studied my face for a second. He got closer to my face and I kinda blushed. He whispered "Then you better go before time runs out...." He straightened his back and went back to his office.

I can feel my face burning! I hope I'm not red as an cherry. Am I starting to... like him?? Oh no y/n! That's not part of your plan! Come on! He's your Professor and you're just a 2nd year!

I started to walk a bit faster towards the Great Hall. As I arrived it was quiet... It's ambiance was beautiful like no one has ever been here except for me. I walked into the Great Hall and sunlight was shining down the tables.

I saw some of my favorite food on the table. Some bread, pumpkin juice and bacons. How can anyone know these were my favorite food? Huh.... It kinda feels like someone gave it to me, like specifically for me....
