Chapter 6: The Two Schools

Y/n POV

We all woke up at the same time, like literally. We all looked at each other with our sleeping faces and began to laugh.

"I like your hair y/n!" said Hallie while chuckling.

"Thanks Hal! I like your face!" I said while trying to hold in my laugh.

I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 8:15 pm already!

I screamed "It's already 8:15 pm!". They all widened their eyes and sprung up and quickly changed into our fancy dresses from before and wore the heels from the gifts of our parents. I hurriedly styled my hair into a half ponytail.

I saw Hallie spraying perfume, "Hallie, can I have some too?" I asked. She tossed it to me "Hurry up! Roshan and Arkette will use it too!" said Hallie. We all finished up on what we were doing and went to the frontyard.

We were walking pretty fast so we wouldn't be late for the assembly thingy. When we were near the huge doors of the frontyard, I heard a crowd of noises. We catched our breath and calmed ourselves. We all took a deep breath and the doors opened.

The silence stopped, all eyes were on us. It feels uncomfortable if all eyes were on you. 'Ok! Don't mind them y/n! They're not judging you! Alright?'

As we stepped forward, the students were leaving a path for us. Along the walk, a guy on the right side gave me a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolate. "T-This is for you y/n! And... you look so pretty today!" Then he ran deeper into the crowd.

Another guy gave me Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Beans "You look good today y/n. I-I hope you can enjoy these with your friends y/n!" he also went deeper into the crowd.

Then more and more gifts were given to me and my friends. It got noisier and noisier. I didn't expect that anyone would give us gifts. Roshan received candies and some daisies. Arkette received some sweets and poppies while Hallie got daisies and lots of sweets too.

We were at the end of the crowd, we placed our gifts on the bench and thanked everyone "In behalf of my friends, we would like to thank you to the boys, who have given us gifts. We didn't expect to receive such amazing presents! Thank you all very much!"

The boys were cheering and clapping for us. I saw some girls whispering, rolling their eyes and being angry but... we didn't really mind them. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle walked towards us. I hugged him

"Draco! It's so good to see you! It's been a while since we last talked or even see each other!" I turned towards Crabbe and Goyle "Hey Crabbe! Hey Goyle! Long time no see too!".

Draco smiled and chuckled "It's also good to see you y/n.... It has been a really long time. I see you found some new friends"

I introduced my friends to Draco "Meet my friends! This is Arkette, Hallie and Roshan"

"Hey...." they said it together happily except for Arkette. She was shy and blushing a little.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Draco, these are my buddies, Crabbe and Goyle" said Draco.

Harry, Hermione and Ron also came to us. "Hey y/n! Looking good in your fancy dress" said Harry. I giggled and hugged them three tightly.

"Alright, alright I also missed you too y/n" said Hermione. I smiled

"You haven't changed Hermione. It's really good to see you" I said happily.

"Well, well, well if it isn't Potter and his friends!" said Draco evily.
