Chapter 18: Experience

I know you're wondering why I posted very early. Well, it's because I wasn't satisfied with the chapter I posted yesterday so I had to make a new one. It was really fun making this one! Enjoy reading!

Y/n POV:

*In the Common Room*

"That's actually cool y/n that you have a power!" said Hallie.

"Power of Knowledge? Sounds like a curse more than a power to me" said Arkette

"So can you tell us what our destiny is or when we'll die?" Roshan asked. I shook my head "I'm sorry... but I can't tell you... something bad might happen unexpectedly".

They were silent for a moment. "You could have told us sooner y/n! It's actually cool thing that you have that kind of power"

"Curse" said Arkette.

"It's not a curse Kette!" said Hallie with a bit of anger.

"Well we better go, dinner's gonna start soon" said Arkette

I shook my head "I'm not eating tonight, no appetite at all".

"Well yeah, I'm starving" said Roshan. We heard Hallie's stomach grumbling, we looked at her "Me too" and we laughed.

*Night Time*

Night falls and I still had no appetite at all so I had to stay in the dorm. My friends were in the Great Hall, spending time with their boys, I think. I'm not sure if Severus is in his chamber or maybe he's eating dinner.

I went to his chamber and knocked twice, but I only heard silence. I knocked again and he didn't answer. I opened the door and he wasn't there.

There was no fire lit in his fireplace, he wasn't sitting on the couch nor reading a book or even sleeping. I think he's eating right now but I feel like he isn't. I have this kind of feeling that he's with someone. I don't blame him though, he's always busy.

I went back outside and started to search for him. I noticed that students have finished their dinner, I saw my friends.

"Hey y/n! Are you looking for someone?". Hallie asked worriedly.

I nodded "Yes... just looking for Snape. Any ideas where he is?". I asked

"Well, he was in the Great Hall but he left early with the Durmstrang Headmaster, Karkaroff? I think they went somewhere quiet? Cause they look like they're hiding something. I'm not sure". said Arkette.

"Thanks Kette, I'll try to find him".

"Want us to come with you? We can look for him together" said Roshan.

I smiled "It's alright, you guys should rest. I'll be back before midnight... so don't wait up for me".

They looked at each other and gigged "Ouhhh, something spicy is coming tonight! Tell us about it the next day" said Hallie excitedly.

"Oh stop it you three, I don't know... I'm not quite sure too. My feeling is, I'm ready but at the same time not. Like I really want to do it! But I'm scared at the same time!" I said nervously.
