Chapter 8: Dueling Club

Y/n POV

I woke up kinda late again the next day. I did my usual morning routine and went straight to The Great Hall for breakfast. But when I arrived, there were no tables nor food. It was a long stage with different types of moon as a design.

A lot of students were sitting on the chairs at the sides of The Great Hall. Surely there's still time for breakfast. I hurriedly hid myself and apparated in front of the kitchen. I tickled at the pear and it opened. When it opened, it smells so delicious! I can smell the bread and saw some pumpkin juice in the goblet. I grabbed at least four breads and two goblets full of pumpkin juice.

After that I apparated again at The Great Hall, which, I'll be eating there. I sat down near the fireplace to warm up. I started to eat fast because I'm sure class was going to start soon. I saw Harry, Ron and Hermione entering The Great Hall. I waved over their direction and they saw me.

They walked over here and sat down beside me. "Mornin'" I said weakly.

"Mornin" they said also tiredly.

"Do you have any idea what will we be doing today?" I asked while still eating some bread.

"I have absolutely no idea" said Hermione.

I offered my bread to the three of them "Bread anyone? I'm sure we need our strength today from the looks of it..."

Harry rejected while Hermione and Ron grabbed one. "Here... have some pumpkin juice too. But I only brought two. I'm sorry... You guys have to share".

"We don't mind it y/n but thanks for the bread and pumpkin juice" said Ron happily.

After eating we all had a little chat, Gilderoy and Prof. Snape went inside The Great Hall. I looked at Prof. Snape and noticed that he didn't wear his cloak. Strange....

I turned towards them "I need to go... class' starting. See you all later". I waved as I walk to the other direction. I went and stayed with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle near Prof. Dumbledore's throne-like chair.

"Hey Draco, how are you doing?". I asked

"Not too bad actually.... Do you have any idea what were doing today".

I shaked my head "No... I have absolutely no idea at all".

Prof. Snape stayed beside Me, Draco, Crabbe and Goyle. I can smell his scent and feel his body heat. He smells like old books and potions. Gilderoy walked up on stage and said:

"Gather 'round, gather 'round!" Everyone gathered around the stage. "Can everybody see me? Can you all hear me? Excellent!" said Gilderoy while walking on the stage.

"In light of the dark events of recent weeks, Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little Dueling Club to train you all up in case you ever need to defend yourselves, as I myself have done on countless occasions- for full details, see my published works". Who does he think he is? He dosen't even know his own spells!

He looked back, "Let me introduce my assistant, Professor Snape". Prof. Snape then slowly went up the stairs with arms crossed. He looks so good without his cloak.

"He has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration. Now, I don't want any of you youngsters to worry- you'll still have your Potions master when I'm through with him, never fear". They faced each other and Gilderoy started the countdown "One, two, three".

Prof. Snape yelled "Expelliarmus!". Gilderoy flew backwards and hit the ground hard. I laughed way too hard. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle joined me too. Gilderoy starts to walk towards Prof. Snape
