Chapter 15: The Yule Ball (Last Part)

Y/n POV:

It was getting late and almost everyone is tired but my friends and I weren't, we were really excited.

"May I have your attention please! I know all of you are tired but please stay for a surprise performance! Can you all please get inside?" Prof. Dumbledore asked.

We looked back at the crowd and saw a lot of people coming in. Some didn't look tired and some were uh... drunk? I think they're drunk from the wine.

"I see the Great Hall is packed again, very good. Anyways, since majority of you are here, there's one more surprise performance for the night". said Prof. Dumbledore

My friends and I were eyeing at each other and smiling so much that their dates wondered what's happening.

"I know that it's past midnight and you're all tired for the night, I am too. For our surprise and last performance, this is going to be very good. Trust me when I say it's good" said Prof. Dumbledore happily.

"Now, please help me welcome, Ms. l/n" then Prof. Dumbledore pointed me with his hand. As I grabbed my lapel and started to wear it, students were clapping, cheering my name and whistling.

Prof. Dumbledore sat back down with the staff while I was standing on the stage. I kept on smiling and smiling. I gave a 'quiet' gesture and they went silent.

"Thank you Prof. Dumbledore. There are a few words that I would like to say before the surprise performance. This place has taught me so much about friendship, loyalty, love, but most importantly, it's taught me that the best things in life, the very best things happen unexpectedly". I said sincerely.

I kept on smiling and shaking my head.
