Chapter 13: Hospital Wing

Y/n POV

I woke up at the Hospital Wing. Ron and Hermione are fine, I think Harry was still sleeping, the Stone was destroyed, I was in bed with curtains surrounding me and beside me was Prof. Snape, holding my hand and brought my old book. He looks like he haven't slept for days! I giggled and he woke up. He immediately let go of my hand and leaned back on the chair, I asked curiously "What are you doing here Professor?". He looked away and answering me coldly, "It's important for the Head of Slytherin to be there with his pupil".

I asked "How long was I asleep". He looked back at me "Maybe around, 2 days or so. I also heard you used the killing curse on Quirrell and Voldemort". I stretched and sat on the bed "Yep, I guess so. It's tiring to carry those 'dunderheads'". He looked at me with those black orbs with amazement. I smiled "Is there something in my face, Professor?". He snaps out and starts to stand up "Since you're alright, I shall go back to my chamber". He proceeds to walk out and I tried to go back to sleep.

Severus' POV

'What's gotten into me? Why did I became furious and worried for y/n?. I couldn't help leaving her alone in the hospital wing'. I couldn't shake off the feeling of her eyes, those beautiful black, sparkling eyes, her cute face when she sleeps.... I stood there, realized what I thought. Now I was angrier at myself that I was thinking about caring for her. She's only a first year Severus! and you're her Professor!. But a talented, smart first year pupil. The ones I only cared was Albus, Minerva and of course.... Lily, my love. I can't betray her... I gave my heart to Lily already, my heart died with her... I sighed and apparated back to my office to continue grading the Potions tests and essays.

Y/n POV

I woke up the next day, bright and early. I decided to meet up the gang, well except for Harry, he's still sleeping. I went back to my dorm to shower 'cause I didn't shower for 3 days! As soon as I was finished, I apparated to the Gryffindor Common Room. I waited outside for Hermione and Ron.

*A few minutes later*

We decided to walk around the school, we stopped by the grand staircase where we met Prof. Mcgonagall in the first day of school. Then I saw Harry, I told them and pointed towards Harry. He proceeds to walk up the stairs and leaned over the railing. Harry asked "All right there, Ron?", Ron grinned, "All right? You?", Harry shrugs and turned to Hermione "All right Hermione?", she smiles at Harry "Never better". Lastly, he hugged me tightly and whispered "Thank you y/n, for saving my life and being there for me. You should have been sorted to Gryffindor". I didn't say anything and I just hugged Harry back.
