Chapter 1: We Meet Again

Y/n POV:

"Mum! Dad! I'll be going now!" I said, going down the stairs while carrying my luggage and Sevy. The outfit I'm wearing today is simple.

The large white blouse that Severus gave me over the summer, a short black skirt and my black heels from the Yule Ball.

My hair is tied into a high ponytail also leaving some hair strands on the side of my face. Over the summer, my hair really grew longer.

Downstairs, my mom was cleaning the kitchen while my dad was sitting on the couch, reading the daily prophet.

"Okay hun! Be safe out there!" said Mum, shouting. I went over to the kitchen and gave my mother a kiss on the cheek.

Then I went over to dad, I also gave him a kiss on the cheek "Bye dad, see you soon".

When I opened the door, my mum went over and gave me one last kiss on the cheek. "Say hi to Snape for us when you get there" said Mum while hugging me tightly.

My parents met Severus over the summer last year and it was... quite awkward. But time to time, it grew both on my parents and for Severus too. Snape would often pay a visit.

"You really need to be safe y/n, there was an attack on the bridge and a dark mark in the sky! Poor muggles, they're also in danger" said Dad worriedly.

"Don't worry dad, I got Severus with me so I'm going to be alright" I said happily. I went out the house and close the door behind me.

I checked my surroundings to see if there are any people around but so far... no one was here.

I think muggles are evacuating from the disaster that just happened recently. I still didn't tell my parents that I'm a Death Eater because, I want them to be safe and not worry about me all the time.

I apparated to Cokeworth, the Spinner's End. That's where Severus grew up, it's his childhood home. It is one of the several streets lined with deserted brick houses and broken streetlamps, near a dirty river and an abandoned mill with a tall chimney.

Not much people were around and it was a relief. I knocked the door twice and waited for him to open, I was so excited to see him. The door opened and then there's Severus, wearing his usual uniform but without the cloak.

I let go of my luggage and placed Sevy on the floor, I jumped towards Sev and hugged him tightly. I was smiling and laughing from happiness then we kissed for a long time.

"It's so great to see you Sev! I missed you a lot!" I said while still hugging him.

He smiled widely "I've missed you too y/n. I've missed your touch, your lips, everything. Please, come in, I'll carry your things".

"Let me help you, I'll just carry Sevy" I said while picking up his cage. Snape went inside first then I followed, I closed the door.

"Sevy? Why Sevy?" Snape asked.

"Not sure, that was the name that popped up in my head when my parents and I were at Diagon Alley" I said while putting the cage on a table.

Snape parked my luggage at the doorway "Never in my life I have seen that owl at Hogwarts".

I raised my eyebrow "You're serious? All those years teaching at Hogwarts, you haven't seen him? Not once?".

Snape shook his head "Not once, not a fan of the Owlery. It's usually Minerva who sends messages when Albus isn't around".

At the side, there was stairs leading to his bedroom, I think. We went over to the living room, next to it was the bathroom.

Snape got this huge bookshelves all around the room, a nice fireplace, a chair, a medium size lamp, two windows with white blinds, a table paired with a chair near the window and picture frames hanging all around the room.
