I groaned after turning off the alarm on my phone.

"I shouldn't have agreed to him that fast last night." I uttered to myself. It's just 6 in the morning, too early for today.

My phone beeped. Kinuha ko ulit yon sa side table. It was a notification from newsworthy-a famous mass media mostly focused on showbiz issues and all.

It was said here that Miss Audrey and Zaryl really make it on the big screen. There was a picture of them together while walking on the red carpet, hooked arms and both smiling.

So glad that I didn't fall walking on that red carpet, or I'll be really a laughingstock last night. Gosh! That'll be so embarassing.

I sighed.

That was supposed to be my first exposure. My first ever chance to walk on that red carpet just slip away from my grip. I didn't hold for it enough. This is cruel.

Another sigh.

I won't let that happen again. I definitely have to be careful next time.

Yeah, I'll be careful.

Careful... I should know who's the ally and who's the enemy. I'll be really careful... Careful... Carefu-

Napatigil ako sa pag-eencourage sa sarili ko ng walang pasubaling pumasok si Aldr-Poseidon sa kwarto ko.

"H-how can you casually barged h-here..."

"Prepare and eat breakfast with me. Now." He said, it sounded more of an order.

Napatango na lang ako.

So bossy!

Napahawak siya sa siko ko ng muntikan akong matuba. Kumirot sa pagkaka-apak ang paa ko. Akala ko ba okay na 'to?

"Does it still hurt?" Tanong niya, hawak pa rin ang siko ko. "You knew you're injured but you're still clumsy."

Injured? Grabe, natapilok lang naman. OA nito.

"Akala ko okay na ee." I just said. Hindi ako makatingin sa kanya. Na-conscious din ako bigla.

He's already well cleaned at this hour. A white long-sleeved tucked in on his black slack partnered with a matt-black necktie. He's also wearing the watch I gave him. His hair's brushed upwards.

"Tsaka minamadali mo 'ko kaya ayun..." I bit my lower lip. He looks good today. Well, araw-araw naman.

He chuckled. And dear God! Lalong gumwapo!

"I'll take that as you, getting nervous seeing me as soon as you wake up."

Wow! Ang hangin. "Uhuh? Baka naman inaantok ka pa? Kung ano-ano na lang sinasabi mo." Nailing na lang ako, panakip butas sa ngiting gustong ipakita ng labi ko. "I'll prepare. Susunod na lang ako sa baba."

A smile escaped my lips as soon as I entered the bathroom. Napasandal pa ako sa pintuan pagka-lock ko noon.

Ang ganda naman ng umaga ko.

Hindi na din ako nagtagal sa pag-aayos. Naabutan ko siyang mataman na naghihintay sa dining area. Hindi talaga siya kumain hangga't wala pa ako. Sweet!

Tahimik akong naupo katapat niya. Bacon, egg, hotdog, fried rice, coffee and a hot milk is well prepared on the table. Did he cook this? Or Manang prepared this? Hmm?

We started eating and no one's talking. Ang tahimik.

He looks so formal and he acts so formal too. Parang napakamamahaling tao. No wonder he's at the top.
