The discussion ended at nearly 11 pm. We all stood up and shook our hands. I walked out with Nayeon-unni and her manager.

"Have you eaten?" I shook my head.

"Why didn't you eat before going here?" She sounded like a mad mom.

"I'm gonna be late." I pouted and earned a pinch on my cheek.

"Come on, let's eat." We hopped inside her van and stopped at a secluded 24/7 barbeque house. We took a seat and ordered foods and two bottles of beer.

"Thanks, Ahjumma. You're the best!" We said in chorus. We go here whenever we meet to eat. So, the lady who own the barbeque house already know us.

"Did you perhaps ate lunch?" She asked we as I started eating the big bowl of noodles as an appetizer.

"Yeah, but not that much." I said and continued pigging out. "I ate an apple, some yogurt, and a bottle of energy drink for lunch." I felt a hard slap on my arm after saying it.

"Are you trying to kill yourself?" She asked half-shouting.

"I didn't eat too much food because I had a training." I defended myself.

"But still, you can eat at least a slice of pie or cake. An apple isn't enough for you." I smiled at her and pouted.

"I'll tell it to uncle if you don't eat properly. I heard you were rushed into the hospital a few times lately." I never thought that news will come to her.

"Your dad told me." She watched me eat. "Eat up. You need to gain those calories you lost. I already ate dinner with my manager earlier." She took a sip from her beer and held her chopsticks to get some meat on the grill.

After finishing up the bowl of noodles, I took a sip from my beer and ate the fried rice with some meat. Nayeon-unni watched me as I eat.

"This kid." She wiped my lips with the table napkin as soon as I finished the bowl of rice. I burped silently and drank my beer. We started to talk about things.

"How's it going with your boyfriend?" She asked me.

"We broke up months ago." I answered casually.

"Ya got a new one?"

"Well, it's complicated." I sipped from my beer and took some meat from the grill.

"What d'ya mean?"

"She haven't confessed yet. But she told me to wait." I played with my chopsticks as I answer.

"Wait! A 'she'?" I nodded at her.

"That's tough. You don't have any label?"

"Friends? Super friends?" She almost spit out her drink with what I said.

"Super friends? Are you serious?" She laughed at me.

"I don't know." I shrugged and took a shot.

"You know kid, there's no in-between. It's either you two are friends or lovers." She looked at me intently.

"Well, we act like lovers but that's it." I took another sip.

"She asks you out?" I nodded at her and took another meat from the grill.

"You two are dating then." I looked at her immediately. "What? I'm serious, you two are dating. You aren't just friends anymore." She continued.

"She just don't have the guts to confess and court you yet but you two are dating already." I nodded slowly with my realization.

"Then, I'll wait for her to confess." I said and took the last shot. She drank hers too and paid for our food with her credit card.

"Thanks, ahjumma." We bid goodbye to the owner and hopped in to unni's van.
