The rest of the morning was spent by watching and preparing the trainees for their weekly assessment.
"Shall we go?" I asked the three Japanese girls and they all nodded. It's currently their lunch time. I accompanied them.
"What do you want for lunch, girls?" I asked as I roam my eyes for possible restaurants around the place.
"We want to try something new!" Yuri commented.
"Sure, I'll take you somewhere." We talk as we walk. They're sharing things to me like about their family, their passion, and some of their embarrassing moments.
"I remembered when Akemi-chan fell from the stairs because she was afraid that her crush will notice her." Yuri laughed off.
"Wasn't she suppose to be happy?" Kazumi asked.
"She want to admire him from afar." Yuri continued. We fell onto a comfortable silence right after.
"Here we are." I said and pointed at the big sign of the restaurant. We entered and took a seat at the corner. Vin brought me here that's why I know this place. I think they changed the interior design because the last time we went here, it's vintage-themed and right now it's modernized. The whole place is giving the chill vibe.
"Can I take your order?" A guy in his 20's came to us.
"What do you like, girls?" I asked the three in Japanese and explained the foods from the menu in their language. The guy waited for our orders patiently. He seemed surprised when I spoke in my native language. He almost drop his pen when I said my order.
"That's all. Thank you." I said.
"Thank you, Miss. Your food will be served soon." He bowed and left, taking the orders with him.
We continued to talk as we wait for the food.
"I'm pretty curious though." Kazumi stated.
"About what?" Akemi tranced.
"How a young teenager like Yurisses-chan didn't choose to be a trainee?" I chuckled at her question.
"I was offered by many companies, even JYP. They're still not closing the deal for me and said that if I agree I can have my debut right away." They listened attentively.
"But I don't stop at performing, I want to explore more. I have tried doing arts and sports. Actually, I'll be busy starting next week for a taekwondo tournament and one of my artworks is gonna be presented on our school's annual art exhibit while I'm taking care of the girls." I said referring to the trainees.
"Sana-chan will be helping me so I guess it won't hurt my schedule that much. Also, I have pursued poetry. Composing songs, creating stories, writing poems and sonnets, then some script also. As you can see, I've decided to pursue more that what I thought I can be. Some might say that I'm too young or I'm incapable but I don't have to listen to them, I only need to listen to my heart. I listen to what it say and think of how it would affect me. Luckily, it all turned out good." I finished telling my story as the food arrive.
We ate in silence. Swallowing and groans of enjoyment are the only noises that can be heard from us. This place serves good food, it never failed to amaze me. It's like the foods send fireworks to my taste buds.
"That was awesome!" Kazumi commented.
"I think I'll enjoy my stay here." Akemi burped right after she said those which made us laugh.
"Yeah right, you food monster." Yuri sniggered.
Our table was filled with laughter. Yuri and Akemi are bickering while Kazumi is enjoying every bit of it. We even made a bet for who will hit the other.
"I bet a lunch for Akemi."
"I bet lunch and dinner for Yuri." I smirked as I said those words. We shook hands as a sign of negotiation and watched the two.
"Come on, Akemi-chan. Hit her. I can't lose, Yurisses-chan offers good food." I heard Kazumi whispered. I chuckled as she say the last statement.
"You white freak!" Akemi said as she hit Yuri.
"Aw, I lost." The Japanese sisters looked at me.
"What? You won Kazumi-chan. I admit defeat." I held my chest and acted hurt.
"You owe me some good food." She said with a smile, a smile of glory.
"Tomorrow, I'll bring you to some other good place." I chuckled.
"New foods!" Akemi squealed in happiness.
We walked back to the JYP building while laughing at some stories from Kazumi. We entered the elevator and Sana was inside too.
"You girls...I've been searching for you." She held her temple and massaged it.
"Why did you go out without my consent—or at least you could've inform me!" She continued to hiss at us but it came out cute for her voice. I giggled not so silently.
"You! I told you I'll be back, gosh! What if something bad happened to you? I can't deal with it. JYP might come to me for hurting his best producer and your parents might send me to jail." She pointed at me. I giggled louder at her statement.
"Calm down, Sana-chan. You know that I can put a hole in a punching bag using my fist so don't worry." I calmed her.
"Still, just don't go out the building without telling me." We rode the elevator silently. After they went inside the practice room, I bid my goodbye. I'll go to my therapist later at 3:00 and it's half past one. I decided to ride my car and roam around for a while.
I drove my car around the busy streets of the city. Watching people go back and forth. The traffic is pretty much fine. I stopped my car in front of a park and sat at one of the benches. I watched the kids have fun at the playground.
I never really experienced playing with other kids when I was young. At a young age, I busied myself with books and dictionaries. I didn't know why I put too much effort in reading way back then. My mom would scold me before because I never go out of my room and play. I giggled at those thought.
I realized that I was an introvert ever since I was a kid. Instead of wasting my energy in socializing, I would spend it with my books and instruments. I still fancy books but not those kind of books that I read when I was a kid. Novels are the books that got my attention now. Though, I haven't opened a new novel yet. I'm pretty much busy with school and my career. But when I got a free time, I'll surely spend it with my books.
I stood up and was about to walk to my car when a boy bumped to me. I felt a cold liquid flowed on my white shirt.
"Oh shit! I'm so sorry!" He start to wipe my shirt but I immediately stopped him.
"It's fine." I said and bowed at him.
"H—hey! What's your name?" He called me.
"Yuri." I said plainly and opened my car door.
"I'm Soobin."
"Bye." I said shortly and went inside my car. Luckily, I have extra clothes here. I grabbed the black box under my seat and grabbed a fancy white long sleeve polo. I removed my coat and changed into it. Thank God, my coat isn't wet.
I drove off and parked in front of my therapist's building. I entered and made my way to her office.
"Shall we start?"
"Yes."
