"Let's go?" Dad said. We're heading to the arena right now for the awarding.

We rode our family car and after almost an hour of driving, we reached our destination. We entered the arena and a certain blue-haired human appeared before me.

"Can we talk?" She said with her monotone voice.

"Sit near Jay's, dad. I'll just talk to Vin." After that, we excused ourselves. She led the way and we stopped at the back part of the arena.

"I missed you." I told her and went for a hug but she avoided it.

"I'll go straight to the point, Yuri." She called me Yuri. I cleared my throat and straighten my face before speaking.

"Go on."

"I...Let's break-up." I felt my world crumble with what she said.

"Wha...Why?" I asked her. Looking straight in her eyes.

"Are you doing all these things just to avoid me?" She asked. Anger can be heard from her voice.

"What? No! Why would I do that?!"

"Are you tired of me? Can't you make any time for me?" Her words, puzzled me.

"No! I'm always tired but never of you!" I replied.

"Then why can't I even get a hold of you?! You're always busy!" Tears started to fall.

"You didn't even text me or update me! I'm always waiting for your texts but it seems like you don't even care! Do you care for me?! Or do you even love me?!" With that, my blood boiled.

"I should be the one asking you that! I always text you and update you! I wait for you every dismissal! I wait for your replies and calls!" I can't believe we're having this kind of conversation on our monthsary.

"I always make time for you! You can ask your classmates! I always go there every lunch time and ask for you but you weren't there! Then, I'll see you with him!" I wiped the tears in my face harshly.

"You're always out with Soobin! Smiling and laughing with him! What's with him that I don't have?! I'm your girlfriend for fuck's sake!" I looked down as I felt something stabbing my heart.

"Wherever I go, I see you with him! Whenever I try to go to you, you're always with him! Why do I feel like I'm the only one trying to make this work?!" My breathe became ragged.

"If you love me, why can't you fucking see my efforts?! If you love me, why can't you just tell him to fucking go away from you?! I understand that your world doesn't revolve around me and you're just making friends! But why do I feel like he's not just a friend to you?!" My fist clenched.

"I wish I didn't fall for you! I wish you didn't court me if you're just gonna make me feel this way! I wish I never met you..." I held my chest as I feel my heart breaking.

"I was tired, confused, and broken! Then I thought you'll fix me! You'll save me! But you just made it worse...I thought it's enough to fucking care and be there for you to feel my love! I guess, it's not just enough...I'm not enough! Fuck, I'm never enough!" I looked at her revealing the pain through my eyes.

"I thought this love of mine is enough but I guessed it wrong..." I swallowed hard.

"I'm sorry if I love you! I'm sorry if I fucking care for you! I'm sorry because I thought I'm enough! I'm sorry if I'm always busy! I'm sorry if I'm just me..." Why must be this painful? I exhaled heavily before speaking again.

"If this is what you want...then let's do it. Let's break-up. Maybe we're not meant for each other. Maybe in another life...maybe you're the one that got away." I wiped my tears.

"I love you, Vin. I really do, I'm sorry and Happy Monthsary." With that, I took my leave. I wiped my tears as I slowly walk to the arena.

I went to find my parents and sit beside them.

"Hey, you okay?" Jay asked. She's beside me. I smiled at her, a fake one.

"Let's talk about that later, okay?" I nodded at her and looked at the stage.

After a few moments, my name was called. I walked to the stage with my parents and my brother. They gave the medals to me and the trophy.

"Looks like Yurisses Choi is the next heiress of Eros Group of Companies." The commentator said.

I let my tears fall with a smile, a fake smile. Making it look like I'm crying out of joy but deep inside, I'm broken and hurting.

After that ceremony, I asked my parents to hang out at Jay's house for a while and they agreed.

"Take care, princess." They waved at me before I entered Jay's house.

CL, Kath, and Cleo are with us. Sitting at her room. They waited for me to speak after we changed into comfortable clothes.

"She...we broke-up." Tears fell from my eyes as the scene from earlier played in my head.

"She asked for it?" I nodded not minding who asked the question.

"I'm freaking hurt and broken." I covered my face with my hand.

"She went to me telling that I didn't made time for her. That I never updated her nor texted her. That I never cared for her even if I fucking did!" I cried my heart out.

They didn't speak and just hugged me after I expressed my feelings.

"Maybe we're really not meant for each other."

"We're just here. Cry it out."

That night, they joined me and listened to my rants. They tried to make me laugh as I cry. They tried to lighten the mood when I feel like I'm down.

"Not gonna ask you to cheer up nor smile, but here to make you do it!"

I smiled at them while my tears flowed freely. They hugged me and rubbed my back.

"Cheers!" Cleo said raising her glass of iced tea.

"Don't you dare pee on my bed later!" Jay threatened.

"I won't!"

We laughed at their small argument. But I can't help but to feel empty. My laughter became silence and my tears flowed again. This one reminded me of our sleep overs. I excused myself to the bathroom and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I saw my puffed eyes and my red nose. I cried too much, I guess.

"Yuri? Are you done?" I heard Cleo's voice outside the door.

"Uh—yeah." I wiped my tears and washed my face before going out.

"We're here, just here." Cleo patted my back before she entered the bathroom.

"Hi! I'm back!" I tried to sound cheerful to them.

"Yuri!" Jay ran to me.

"They're teasing me!" She pouted and pointed at the two girls sitting at the floor.

"We're not!" Kath defended.

"You do!"

"We don't!"
