We're currently at the bleachers of the biggest arena in the host city. Introductions of Cities are happening. When our school and city was called, we made our way to the center and bowed. Crowds clapped and some cheered too.

After the introductions of all, performers from different places gave energy to the stage and left awe at the audience. As lunch approaches, various stalls of foods came to sight.

"Hey." Vin walked to me, wearing a baseball shirt indicating our school name in the front and her surname at the back.

"Let's eat?" I hesitantly asked. She grabbed my hand and we started to look for foods that will satisfy our hunger. We sat at the nearby table after we ordered.

"Happy monthsary!" She said out of the blue. She got a nice smile on her lips revealing her dimples.

"Happy monthsary too!" I replied with such enthusiasm. She held my hand and kissed the back of it.

"I'm sorry if I kept making you jealous or insecure. I'll do my best to be a great partner to you. Let's do well and strive hard! I love you!" My cheeks heated at her last statement. I gave her a warm smile and lowered my head. Trying to hide my blushing cheeks.

"Hey, don't be shy. You look cute." She held my chin and pinched it lightly.

"I know that this is just our first month and I want to spend more days with you in the future. Let's stay in love with each other, our passion, and ourselves. I love you too!" I said my short message.

After the small talk, our food was served. I didn't eat much for I'll have a fight. Vin is here to watch and accompany me home later. Since the school bus will not drop us at our house, we'll take the public bus. My parents want to come and watch but I insisted that they must focus on their businesses first.

"Good luck, love." Vin said as she attended to me before my fight. She's sitting beside coach Hwang. I took a deep breath before wearing my mouth piece.

"Here, we have Yurisses Psyche Choi wearing the exclusive black dobok that represents their school. She won the first place last inter-school tournament in their city which was held last February." The commentator made a small introduction for me as I walked to the mattings.

I heard the referee's whistle and stood at the center. Same as my opponent, I've fought against her last year in the same category. She won by a point last time but now, I won't let that happen.

"Look who we have here, the stupid 'ace' of the lame blue school." She's pretty much a trash talker and I'm ill-tempered. Hopefully, I'll be able to control myself later or else.

"Cocky much, huh?" I smirked at her. The referee stopped our conversation as he spoke about the rules and soon after, started the round.

I watched her fights multiple times and somehow learned her moves. She uses the same technique over and over which made it simple for me to predict her move. She always uses a kick as a starting attack and do some combination after hitting her opponent. I saw her smirk, I guess she'll attack.

I guessed it right. She tried to kick me on my head but I easily bent down and swept her foot. She stood up immediately and was about to attack again but I gave her a flying double kick which landed at her body and head. The crowd gasped at what I did. She fell on her back and shook her head as she stand but I didn't give her time to do so. Before she can even go back to her senses, I gave her a kick-punch combination. I saw her eyebrow bled and smirked. I jumped and gave a finishing kick on her head. She fell on the mat, unconscious. I landed perfectly fine on my feet and bowed at her sleeping body.

I made a powerful impression on the crowd, based on their facial expressions. I stood at the center and the referee raised my hand. A certificate and a gold medal was given to me.

I went near my team. They ruffled my hair and congratulated me in my first fight. Coach Hwang gave me thumbs up though she reminded me not to do a forceful attack for I might kill my opponent. I nodded at her and said thanks. I removed my mouth piece together with my gear and my dobok top. I sat beside them and noticed that Vin is nowhere to be found.

"Where's Vin?" I asked Jay.

"She said she'll go at the washr—Oh, there she is." I glanced at where Jay pointed her fingers and saw Vin walking to me.

"Here! I bought you a water." She handed it to me and sat beside me. I leaned on her shoulder after drinking almost half of the water.

"Are you tired?" She asked me.

"Not really. I just want to lean." I said casually. She held my free hand and intertwined our fingers. I looked at the big screen hanged on the wall opposite to us and saw our faces.

"Vin look!" I pointed her the screen and she smiled. She waved at the cam using her both hands without letting mine go.

"Looks like 'The Ace' named Yurisses Choi got company. What a beautiful lad you got there!" The commentator expressed. I chuckled and looked at Vin's side view.

She look so ethereal. How can she manage that? Looking pretty and handsome at the same time. She looked at me and pinched my cheek. I held the pinched cheek and rubbed it. Why do people like to pinch my cheek? It hurts, you know. I pouted at the thought.

"Something wrong?" I shook my head as an answer to Vin's question. I put my attention on the big screen and watched the next fight.

"By the way, why do you have a baseball uniform?" I asked the blue-haired girl.

"I was a pitcher when I was in my 1st and 2nd year at Junior High School." She casually answered.

"Don't they change it twice every semester?"

"Yeah, I got like..." She counted on her fingers. "8 different styles but 16 pairs, all in all." She continued.

"I quit baseball to focus on my main sport, volleyball." She explained.

We continued to talk randomly until the last fight for today finished. The whole team said goodbye to each other before separating ways.

"Let's go?" Vin brought my gym bag for me.

"Let me change my clothes first." I said and we went to the washroom together. She waited outside the cubicle until I finished. I wore a knee-cut skinny jeans, my table tennis uniform, and a pair of white sneakers.

"Let's go!" I happily chirped after putting all my things inside the gym bag.

"Where do you wanna go?" She asked me as we wait for the bus.

"I wanna eat something delicious! My next fight will be two days from now. I wanna eat something good before I go back to my diet." I smiled at her.

"Then, we shall find that restaurant!"
