"We're here." I went out if the van when I heard that remark from my father. I left my phone and bag inside the van.

"Wear this." Dad gave me a watch.

"Tap it continuously if you smell danger." He said. "Be careful, princess." He hugged me.

"Yes, Dad. I will." I gave him an assuring smile. I saw Vin behind his back. Wait, I thought she'll come with Jay later.

"What are you doing here, Vin?

"Yuri..." She suddenly hugged me. "Be careful. Go back in one piece." I smiled at her and nodded before entering the building.

A stinky smell welcomed me when I opened the door. Messy tables, flipped chairs and broken glasses—in short, a chaotic lobby appeared before me. I continued to walk and saw some flickering lights. A sticky note was left near the stairs.

'Rooftop -SB'

I started to hike using the stairs. Sticky notes were placed at every floor. It contained some sweet lines but a farewell finishing statement that sends shivers to me.

I placed my other hand on my knee when I felt tired. This freaking building have 20 steps in each staircase that came in various sizes which made it harder. After resting for a minute, I continued to make my way up. I wiped the sweats on my forehead as soon as I reached the door that leads to the rooftop.

I turned the knob and bunch of fairy lights welcomed me. A checkered blanket is lying on the floor with a basket of foods. I looked around and saw my pictures hanging with the fairy lights. What the hell is happening?!

"Hey, you came..." A smiling guy walked to me.

"You literally th—"

"Please, let's not talk about it. I'll tell you something later." He said before I can even finish my words.

I followed him and sat at exactly four feet away from him in the blanket. He took our foods from the basket and served it to me. I hesitantly looked at the food he offered to me.

"I'm not gonna poison you. If you don't believe me, here..." He took a piece of every food in front of us and put it in his mouth. He smiled at me casually after swallowing it all.

I took some food then ate too. He picked up a guitar and sang while I ate. He stared at me all the time which made it kinda uncomfortable but I managed to stay clam despite the fact that my heart is beating fast. It screams trouble! After singing a song to me, I take a quick glance at him and saw sadness in his eyes.

"It wasn't my intention to scare you." He started off.

"I made you go here to apologize about the things that I have done which made you feel uncomfortable. And treat this as a farewell meeting too." He paused for a bit.

"Wonder why I liked you?" He chuckled and look down.

"Why?"

"Remember the time you helped a business tycoon?" My eyes widen at it.

"Yeah, it was me..." He wiped a lone tear that escaped from his eye.

"I was so depressed before that time came. My girlfriend broke-up with me and took more than three quarters of my assets. Our supposed-to-be first child died because of her, she aborted it. My father, the only family I have, died with heart attack as soon as the news came to him. The friends I treated like my brothers, they disappeared from my life." I look down amd fiddled with my fingers as I listen to his story.

"I was running late for a meeting that time then got caught up in a traffic so I decided to walk. I didn't know that along the way, I'll face some thugs. They want to take the brief case that I'm holding but I refused to give it. Hell, my whole future was in it." He laughed dryly.

"Then a young girl in her uniform came. She scared the thugs away and defended me. I knew then that time, she was an angel. When she faced me, that's when I proved that she's really an angel. She smiled at me and told me it's okay. I thanked her and didn't forgot to ask her name." He looked at me.

"She said her name was 'Yuri' so after that meeting—it saved me from bankruptcy—I went to a private investigator and hired him to find the girl. After a year, he gave me bunch of information and pictures. I thought of her as an angel and made her an inspiration to admit myself in an asylum to help me overcome my depression. I did overcame it. I stayed there for like ten months." He gave me an envelope. It contained his findings when he was at the asylum.

"Then, I started to stalk her unknowingly. That obsession of mine made me do this to myself. I undergone a plastic surgery to make myself look a lot younger. I entered your school and did a lot just to do it. I faked my birth certificate and other important files. I even blackmailed the school director that I'll expose his affairs to the public if he won't let me." My eyebrows collided with the last sentence.

"I thought you told him you'll kill his family?" I immediately covered my mouth after I asked that.

"No need to hide it, I know that you ask your father to investigate about me. If the director told the public that he was blackmailed for his affairs, it will cause chaos." He chuckled then proceeded to his story again.

"I saw how happy she is with her girl. But insecurity ate me, I flirted with her girl and brain washed her which caused their break-up. I came to her telling her that the former was just toying with her feelings. I didn't know that her girl was a shallow one and my plan became successful. They broke-up." Tons of memories flashed in my mind.

"I stalked her wearing the black hoodie, mask and sunglasses. I followed her everywhere. Then I decided to show myself to her. But as I send those notes and shitty things to her, I felt nothing but jealousy. I was jealous that she can still smile despite the fact that I can actually kill her in a snap. I was jealous that she have friends and family to rely on when times get rough. I was jealous that she didn't lose her sanity even if I threaten her. I was jealous that she have someone that loves her for who she is, no matter what happened, Vin is always there for Yuri." His tears flowed freely. He paused and wiped it away with his hanky before continuing.

"Then I realized, I'm never in love with her. I was just jealous. My jealousy turned to an obsession. I thought that having her will ease that giddy feeling inside me. But things came to me. Was I really doing it because I love her? Was I really doing it because I want her?" He exhaled heavily then continued to his last question.

"Will I be happy if I see her with me? I realized that I won't. I won't be happy because it's not you who I want. All this time, I still want the girl who broke my heart. I still want my ex."
