"Why though?"

"What do you mean why?"

"Why do you call yourself a demon?" She looked at me.

"Because that's what I am." I simply answered.

"Hmm." She hummed in response.

We walked in silence. Letting the breeze of the midnight went through our thin clothes. I felt her thumb rub the back of my hand.

"Are you cold?"

"Sort of." I shivered as the cold wind blows.

"Come near." I felt her wrap her arms around me.

My heart started to beat faster than usual as my body have contact with hers. Her always cold hands, suddenly felt warm now.

We slowly walked like that. The almost 10-minute walk became 30 minutes. I knocked on our front door continuously.

"Wh—Yuri!" My mom's eyes shot wide.

"H—hey Mom! I—it's cold!" I said as I shiver. She pulled us in and closed the door.

"What time is it? Why are you home late? Where did you go? Who are—."

"Chill, mom." I said and rubbed her back.

"Answer my questions, young lady." She said sternly.

"It's..." I paused and looked at the time. "A quarter before two." I continued.

"Nayeon-unni's recording, trainees' dance practice—Yugy-oppa asked me to watch them for a while, JYP building, and Vin." I breathed at the end.

"Oh, okay. Hurry up now and change into warmer clothes." I sighed in relief when mom didn't ask more questions.

"Yes, mom!" Me and Vin ran upstairs to proceed to my room. I changed into a sweat pants, and a warm hoodie. I also wore a pair of warm socks and toned down the air-con's temperature.

"Let's sleep. I'm really tired." I said and flopped down my bed. My eyes are almost closing.

"Sure, sure." As soon as I heard those words, I drifted to sleep.

"I love you, Yuri."

I jolted up when I heard my phone rang. It's the alarm for Sunday Mass. I was about to move when an arm stopped me. It's Vin's. I carefully removed it and ran to the bathroom to prepare.

I wore my jeans, a plain white shirt, a checkered coat, and my white Nike Air Force 1. I also sported a thin, black-framed specs and tied my hair into a high ponytail.

"Where are you going?" Vin's raspy voice is heard in the room.

"Village church. Wanna come?" I said without looking at her. I fixed my specs and slipped my phone, and wallet in the coat's pocket.

"We'll go to church later too." She said and stood up. "So you're not gonna come?" I asked. She nodded and rubbed her eyes.

"Okay, see ya." I opened the door of my room and was about to leave when I heard her shout from the bathroom.

"I love you! Take care!"

A smile crept in my face as I exit my room. My parents and my brother are downstairs. They're having their breakfast. I sat and joined them.

"Your schedule is always packed. Should I hire a secretary for you, dear?" My father joked. I chuckled and shook my head.

"I rarely see you around the house these past few weeks." He added.
