A doctor and some nurses soon came in with my parents. They studied my vitals and some other things then proceeded to the explanation of their previous check-up on me.

The doctor explained why I collapsed and it was mainly caused by my severe anxiety attack, stress, and over-fatigue. But the reason why I don't remember anything caught my attention.

"She must've witnessed or experienced something traumatic that caused her severe anxiety attack which released too much cortisol..." The doctor explained continuously. After he finished and took his leave, the whole room fell into deep silence. Nobody dared to speak and all of their sad eyes focused on me.

"What?" I looked at them innocently. Suddenly, my mom burst into tears and my dad comforted her.

"Don't you really remember anything?" She asked while sniffing. I slowly shook my head.

"I remember you and Dad...and Chan. Then, Mav and Den." They looked at me, hope visible in their eyes.

"Also, Jay and Cleo. I remember that they are my friends that I met this year and—"

"No...you made friends with them two years ago." My mother cut my words.

"Oh well that explains why I don't know some then. My memory from this year and a year ago are gone." I said casually.

"How about her?" Mom pointed at the girl who claimed to be my suitor.

"She told me her name earlier but that's all. Also, I don't know why my heart beats loudly when she's near." A smile formed on my mom's lips despite the tears on her face.

"Hypothalamus isn't for memories." I smiled at what she said. I learned it from her, I guess.

"So, how many days was I asleep?" I asked them.

"Just a week."

"Oh, shall I go to school again?"

"Can you?"

"As long as the doctor didn't say it's bad for me then I shall." I answered calmly.

"Still studious as ever. Shall I pull out you from the upcoming Regionals?" My mom snickered.

"The upcoming what?" I gave her a puzzled look.

"You made it to the Regionals. You placed 1st on the last Provincial tournament."

"Oh. Can I uhmm...compete?" I asked hopefully. Maybe, she'll allow me.

"The doctor said you should rest for a week though."

"Then I'll rest and come back to my training after a week." I exchanged glances with my parents.

"Let her..." Dad suggested which made me smile.

"She loves doing that, maybe she'll remember some fragments of her forgotten memories if she's gonna join the tournament." I smiled widely. I don't know what's gotten into me but somehow I wish that I'll never remember those memories again.

"So when can I go out of this white room?" I looked at the tube that is plugged at the back of my hand.

"The doctor said you need to take shots for you to prevent having anxiety attacks again." I nodded at the statement. I roamed my eyes around the place and noticed the blue-haired girl who remained silent at the side.

"Hey, Vin." Just by saying her name caused me to have butterflies in my stomach.

"Yeah?" She walked to me.

"Don't you have classes?" I asked referring to her uniform.

"It's done."

"We'll let you two be alone for now and get some clothes for you, okay?" My parents kissed me goodbye before they left the room.
