"Hey." I looked up as I heard that familiar voice. It's Vin. She was waiting for me outside our classroom.

"You ready?" She asked me. Today is Valentine's day and our class just finished. The faculties and the Council agreed to dismiss the students at lunch time.

"Yeah, where are we going?"

"Secret." She winked at me after saying that word. She held my hand and we walked.

"Where are we going?"

"Secret."

"Where are we going?"

"Secret."

"Tell me!" I whined at her showing my puppy eyes and pout.

"Nope." She popped the letter 'P' as she said the word.

"Tell me, please!" I tried again.

I saw her blush as she look away. I tugged her hand and asked her again.

"We're here." I immediately look at the place and I didn't know why I blushed but we're in front of the church.

"Let's go inside."

We walked in silently. I roamed my eyes around the church. It has been a long time since I went to this church since our village have their own.

"I brought you here because I wanna let God witness my vow. A vow that I shall keep and do." She smiled at me before holding both of my hands.

"I, Aikovin Hariette Shin, agree to cherish and treasure this girl in front of me. I'll love her with all of my heart and value her more than anything else. Her words are my motivation, and downfall. I shall listen to her and be patient with her. I shall respect her and help her. I shall love her and forgive her." She said while staring right back at me. I felt my eyes become watery as she continue her words.

"I, your future other half, shall love you and only you. Will you let me court you?" I quickly nodded at her ending question as an answer. My tears fell as she hugged me tight.

"I like you—no—I love you, Yuri." I felt my heart jumped in happiness. She wiped my tears and kissed my forehead. We sat at one of the church benches and let the silence took us as we pray.

"Was this the sign, God?" I muttered silently. I felt a pair of eyes staring at my back. I took some more minutes asking for guidance and seeking forgiveness for my sins.

"Shall we go?" She asked as I fixed my position and open my eyes. We bowed at the church before we walked away.

"Where to?" I looked at her as she intertwined our fingers.

"Where do you want to eat?"

"You know where." I smiled at her making my eyes disappear as it curved.

We walked for a few more minutes and ended up sitting inside one of my favorite restaurants. We ordered and ate silently. I saw her taking a few glance at me.

"Why?" I asked her confusedly.

"Nothing." She shook her head and smiled at me. I felt my heart fluttered when I saw her smile at me.

After we ate, we decided to stroll around. Silence engulfed us as we walk.

"Yuri."

"Hmm." I answered while looking down, watching my shadow.
