Astrid's POV:
--------------------We landed on the island. It was darker than dark and I could barely see a thing. Only the slight silhouettes of trees and rocks. I got off Stormfly and looked around. The glowing Flightmare which should be seen from a mile away in this darkness was no where to be seen. I looked from all angles but still nothing.
"Astrid we shouldn't be here! We don't even know what this place is. What if we are on Bezerker territory or something?" He warned as he walked up to my side. I continued walking. I wasn't sure where but it's better then waiting here. "Can you even hear me?!" He stood in front of me and held my arms, stopping me from walking.
"Hiccup, use Toothless's search thing he does to find the Flightmare." I ordered, not caring what he said before.
"We can search when it's light again. Right now we need to get back to Berk. What if...?" He started again but I cut him off.
"What if what? You worry to much. We can't be on Bezerker territory because their island is huge compared to this one. And we don't have any other threats because Alvin and Stoick happily solved their little grudge." I told him with a pat on the shoulder as I walked around him.
"Okay, maybe you feel fine here but I don't so can we please go?" He begged, stepping back in front of me. I'm not going back. Not now. I have to find the Flightmare. Most of my life I have been thinking of the perfect way to get my name back. I have spent my whole life waiting for this moment and I'm not loosing it now. Sorry Hiccup but this is more important right now. I didn't wait my whole life for nothing.
"You either come or you stay. You decide but I'm going!" I yell-whispered as I walked past him, pushing him aside. I continued walking as I began making my way up a hill of rock. He seemed to still be here because I could hear him cursing under his breath behind me. We reached the top of the hill where I quickly ducked. I pulled Hiccup down beside me. I looked below me where there was an arena. Like the one on Berk. Every tribe has one. Or had one when they killed dragons.
"That's the outcast arena." Hiccup stated. He then turned his head to me. "We are on outcast island!" He complained before standing up. "Okay time to go..." He began but I pulled him back down.
"What are you worried about? This island is abandoned now!" I told him as I hoisted myself over the top of the rock to slide down into the arena. The small pebbles of stone slid down with me as I landed at the top of the arena. I hopped through one of the gaps in the chain netting above it and landed on the stone floor. Hiccup suddenly thumped next to me landing on his butt as he cursed under his breath more, looking up to the dragons above us waiting.
I walked into the middle of the arena and looked around. The moonlight came out from behind the clouds and lit up the area a bit. I heard a roar as I turned to where it came. There in one of the cells in the wall was it.
The Flightmare. Locked up and easy to kill. Wait...locked up? Who locked it up? There's no one here. Suddenly I heard a crash. The door to our exit closed shut tight. The other doors into the arena shut too. We were completely trapped in here. What's going on? I began to panic. Was it a trap?!
"Astrid! Quick!" Hiccup grabbed my hand as we ran. There was still one door left open. We quickly ran through as we entered a tunnel.
"NO! STOP!" I ordered as I pulled my hand away from his. We stopped as Hiccup turned to me.
"What?! We need to go now!" He yelled.
"No! I'm not leaving here without that Flightmare!" I turned to run back the other way. I came here for one thing and I'm not leaving without it. Dead or alive! He grabbed my wrist and pulled me to face him.
