WE walked to the door.
"oh, ladies first." he said.
"no it's fine, you go." i replied awkwardly.
"no i insist." he laughed.
"you can go." i persisted.
we walked in, him following. we both knew we weren't gonna sleep.
"i'm gonna-"
"let's" we said at the same time making us both laugh.
"are we gonna talk about it?" i asked.
"why should we? it was just in the moment." he replied. somehow my heart dropped to my stomach.
"oh, um...yeah." i stuttered, smiling. it was just in the moment. "i'm just gonna take a shower." it was already five am, so i decided to just start the day.
"okay." he jumped onto the bed again, grabbing his phone from the nightstand. i collected clothes from my suitcase.

as soon as i got dressed, i heard a ding. i walked out of the bathroom brushing my hair and saw jaden going through my phone.
"what the hell are you doing?"
"oh shit sorry, i was gonna change my contact name. nick texted you." he said. i grabbed my phone and walked back into the bathroom, looking at him weirdly. i opened my messages and went to nicks contact.
nicky 🧸 i made a mistake. come to my hotel room? im staying near playlist.

i went out of the bathroom. "im gonna come back in a bit." i said flatly.
"where are you going?" bryce asked when i passed him.
"im gonna hang out with nick."
"with nick?" he looked up at me. "what about jaden?"
"what about jaden?" i asked.
"aren't you two talking or something? you kissed." he laughed.
"yeah, but he made it hella clear that it was just in the heat of the moment." i said sourly. "im sorry, i didn't mean to say that." i put my face in my hand and groaned before walking out.
after a couple minutes, nick pulled up. i hopped into the passenger seat. chase was in the back.
"hey!!" i smiled, putting on my seatbelt.
"how are you?" chase asked.
"good." i said. "what about u guys?"
"been alright." nick smirked. when usually it made me melt, now it just made me feel dirty. "we're here."
"damn that was quick." chase said getting out. i went to open the car door but nick stopped me.
"let me." he ran out the car making me laugh and opened it for me.
"thanks."
