"Come on, Oli, you have to wear something normal!"
"How do you characterize normal?"
"I'll do it!"
I walked over to his closet, but everything was either too fancy or super revealing. "How about this?" Oliver held up a red shirt, but it wouldn't be nearly long enough, and there were no sleeves.
"Absolutely not; do you want the world to see your stomach?"
"Yes?"
"You're impossible!"
"Aww is someone jealous?"
"It isn't my fault that I don't want the whole world to see your hot... Sexy... Okay maybe I'm jealous, but–"
"It's alright, I was only playing with you on the shirt. It wouldn't even fit on my body. In all seriousness, how about this one?" Oli held up a blue t-shirt, and I nodded my head at the choice. My ears took on a red tint when he changed the shirt right in front of me, and his chuckle made me feel a little something down there. "Are you having problems, baby?"
"No!"
"Just wait until I need to change my pants."
"Ew!"
I ended up covering my face with my hands, but they were soon pried away. "Don't hide from me, Dev."
When my eyes trailed up his face, they stopped on his eyes. His red irises swirled constantly, and I knew I would get lost if I looked for too long. There were so many emotions that I had yet to unlock such as anger and fear, but I know they'll come along in time. At least my blush was going down finally.
"I already put on pants, so let's go."
"You're going to want to lose the crown, demon boy."
"Don't call me demon boy!"
"Don't call me puppy."
Oli reluctantly set his crown onto his bed before grabbing my by the arm, and I suddenly found myself on the surface of the Earth. "Where to first?"
"To be fair, I've never even left the town I was born in, so I have no clue. I don't even know where we are."
"This is the entrance. It's secret, but if you look closely enough, you'll find it."
"Oh."
"You should just show me around your town."
"I don't know... What if someone recognizes us?"
"We can just teleport?"
"Oliver, humans can't teleport. That would be even weirder."
"Just do it. I showed you where I grew up, so..."
"Fine, but if we get noticed, I'll flay you later."
"Kinky."
"Not like that!" The end of my words was caught in the wind when we transported again, and I found myself standing in front of Jerry's. Oh the awful memories! Luckily for me, it's now mid-day, so most of the people who would recognize me are in class. Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice, and I shoved Oliver into an alleyway.
"W-"
"Sh!" My hand was placed firmly on his mouth, and it effectively shut up when Jamie continued to talk.
"We need to find him, Linc. I don't know what's wrong with Jack, but he's really out of it. We couldn't even convince him to go to school today. I'm scared... It's reminding me of when we lost Maggie."
