"lele? lele?? seriously? you gave rival boy a goddamn nickname!? what's next." he pauses, huffing out expecting a reply.
"what's up with you these days? you're going fucking crazy minjoo. get your shit together and stop fucking around with our rivals." he storms out of the living room before i can reply.

minho gives me a look of sympathy before heading out to follow han. i could care less, the thoughts in my head drowning out everything the boys were saying.

chenle's in nct?! but why? how? does he know i'm in stray kids? is he fucking around with our friendship? why? to get information?? why is han so upset? what the fuck is happening?

my breathing becomes ragged and my heart starts pounding.

my head snaps up after feeling a shake on my shoulders and it turns out i was having a small panic attack. felix looks into my eyes and just knows what to do.

"i know you can hear me kid so i need you to come with me to my room alright? i'm going to carry you now."

after i calmed down a bit, changbin walks in to comfort me and explain to me what was happening, as normally han would do it but i'm pretty sure he's mad at me.

"hey how you doing?" he asks in a soft tone
"i'm shocked and i just... feel dumb.. like always" i mumbled that last bit.
"you didn't know and that's okay. but you should've told us when you met him."

"i know it's just, you guys know everything about me and you won't tell me a single thing about the whole fucking, excuse my language, nct thing. and i just wanted to have something only i knew about and have something for myself you know and-"

"babe you're rambling. i understand"
"and i don't even know why han is mad at me like how was i supposed to know? when i know nothing about nct?" i say as my sadness slowly turns to anger as it always does.

"i would tell you but it's not time-"
"no. tell me everything right now. or i'm actually going to implode bin."

"nct is a big mafia group that owns 1/3rd of seoul like we do. it all started with our founders. our founders full name is unknown to us but we used to call him jyp. ncts founder was a man that used to go by sm. the other 3rd is owned by a man named yg.

before anyone owned anything, they we're all allies until greed got in between two of the founders, sm and jyp. yg was trying to stop them actually.. this argument started right after stray kids was formed and before you joined. at the time, nct was already well known to be a talented and skilled mafia group.

it was kind of scary when jyp and sm declared war on each other. at the time, nct was only a 17 member group. and we were 6 because lix and minho still had to train. the "senior" groups created by both founders, were going crazy on each other. it got to a point where stray kids, still as 6, had to join this petty "war".

coincidentally, this was when sm had 8 members of nct attack us and our base. we were still very new and young so it was hard. an unspoken rule of the mafia world is that,-"

"if you kill, prepare for war" minjoo finishes that sentence she knows all too well.

"right, and when nct came to our base, we were panicked and untrained. we were fighting for hours when they, who clearly had the upper hand, were beating the life out of some of our members. so, one of our members had to... shoot... right... and uh it wasn't aimed properly so uh..."

"so one of our members... killed an nct member." minjoo says slowly, knowing where i was going with his sentence.
