Part 1 Butterflies Adrien

No Akumas, No Akumas, no akumas. Adrien prayed throughout the day. It was the last class of the day and there had not been a single akuma. Yesterday there was a baseball player who had gotten akumatized. She had smacked Chat Noir in the shoulder with her bat, and even with the Miraculouses protection magic it was sore. The last bell rang and Adrien shouldered his bag and stood up to leave. On the way out he passed a frazzled Marinette. She was searching frantically through her pink pocketbook, possibly looking for her red hair ties. Her navy-blue locks hung down over her eyes. She briefly looked up at him, then blushed and looked back at her bag. Adrien's heart skipped a beat. For a second there she looked almost exactly like.... Wow, he had to tell Bugaboo she had a twin! Nino met him at the door "Hey Dude! Check out what's going on at the Eiffel Tower!" Adrien looked at his phone and bit back a curse. Mr. Pigeon was giving another passionate speech about the freedom of pigeons. Adrien turned to Nino "Hey, I'm sorry, my Dad wants me to start Chinese early today. I'll see you tomorrow." He left quickly and slammed into Marinette. They both toppled to the ground, "Oh, I'm so sorry- ADRIEN!" The girl stammered "S-sorry for falling for you- I-I mean falling into you!" she scrambled to her feet and ran off, much to the amusement of Alya, who followed behind her laughing. Adrien just smiled fondly, then ran to a nearby alley and transformed into Chat Noir, then vaulted off. He was hiding in the Eiffel Tower when a stray feather flew by his face. His sneeze stopped when she came. Ladybug wore her usual red suit and mask, but only half of her hair was pulled back, with the other hair tie hanging out of her mouth. Her dark hair framing her pale face and sapphire eyes made his face flush. She caught him staring "What is it, Mon Chaton? " she inquired "Are you too distracted today to work? That's too bad." Chat grinned "It's never a dull day with you. M'lady." The fight was too easy; it was the 25th time, anyways. One Cataclysm, a lucky charm, and one "bye bye little butterfly" later , Chat Noir dropped into a nearby alley and de-transformed. He was about to hand some cheese to Plagg before he heard a muffled squeak. Adrien turned to see Marinette Dupain-Cheng standing at the end of the alley. He was about to explain, but then his voice faltered. Next to her, about six inches above her shoulder, there was a red thing. No, not a thing. A kwami. Marinette turned and ran, tears in her eyes. The kwami followed. Adrien would have followed, but his feet were rooted to the ground. Marinette is Ladybug. Adrien should have followed after her, but it was getting late, and he was probably in for it with his father and Nathalie. He found the Gorilla and got into the car. He would just have to wait the agonizing twelve hours until school....
