Part 11 Prom? (Adrien POV)

Adrien worried. And for Chat Noir and the son of the former Hawk Moth, it would take something big to make him nervous. He needed the perfect way to ask Marinette out to the dance. He had considered many different ways, but none of them seemed special enough. He suddenly got the best idea. That night (as Chat Noir) he went over to the Dupain-Cheng bakery. He tapped on the window, but Marinette was fast asleep. Chat slid into the room and went to work. He had a box with a special gift for her inside. He wrote his name on the outside of a card and it said "Prom?" with little hearts inside. He set the card on top of the box and left. Princesses need their beauty sleep, don't they? The next morning Adrien was talking to Nino at school when Marinette basically tackle-hugged him from behind. They both fell to the floor laughing. Adrien helped Marinette up and she kissed him. Then she waved the card he had left on her desk at him "Sure, I'll go to Prom" That night Adrien waited for his lady outside. She came out of her house, smiling and saying goodbye to her parents. Adrien's heart practically stopped seeing her. He knew the dress was pretty, but.... She was wearing a light blue Agreste designed dress, with silver accents on the cap sleeves and hemline of the dress. Her hair was down, held back by a thin silver headband. She looked sort of childish, yet so mature.... She was beautiful. Adrien smiled and held out his arm, which Marinette looped hers through. Adrien was wearing the regular tux, but with a shirt that matched Marinette's dress. They walked down the street to the school, stopping at the bridge to meet up with the other couples. Marinette looked around "Hey, where's Luka and Kagami? Shouldn't they be here by now?" The group waited for a bit, but then they decided to leave. They went into the school and danced. If they hadn't been so oblivious, they would've realized something was incredibly wrong.....
