Part 14 Second Chance (Chat Noir POV)

Chat followed the line of crying couples to her Royal Majesty, who was arguing with Alya and Nino. Nino was protecting Alya, who was trying various brain games on Kagami "Ok, but if you get Nino to break up with me, you know I'm just gonna slap him and be like 'heck no you aren't'. So really all you are accomplishing is getting me to slap Nino." Kagami was confused. Chat Noir leaned against his pole "You know, she's right. And you better not break them up, that's my ship!" Kagami pulled her scepter out and tried to zap him, but he dodged all her attacks. He was sticking his tongue out at her ( a classic way to get someone triggered) when he fell off of the pole he was standing on. Kagami loomed over him, looking absolutely terrifying. Suddenly a random yoyo zipped around him and he was hauled upside down. Ladybug clicked her tongue disapprovingly "Sorry your Majesty, but the only one who can push around Chaton is me." Viperion was next to Ladybug "Hey, Kagami. Oh, I'm sorry your Majesty" Kagami seethed. She kicked at Viperion, who easily dodged her deadly stiletto heels. Ladybug called on her Lucky charm, which was a photo album. Ladybug looked at it and smiled. She turned to her team "Chat Noir, call on your cataclysm, Viperion, come with me!" Chat noir did as he was told as if she was his parent. He distracted Kagami for a bit when he looked behind her. His jaw dropped in surprise. Marinette and Luka were behind Kagami holding a picture book. Marinette cleared her throat. "Um, Kagami?" Kagami sighed exasperatedly "What!!!!! All I want to do is crush this cat like a fly, exact revenge on my jerk boyfriend, and be known as the Queen. Is that too much to ask?" Marinette and Luka looked at each other tilting their hands back and forth in that not really yes entirely way. Kagami sighed. Marinette handed Kagami a picture from the album. It was a picture of Luka and Kagami's first date. Kagami smiled briefly at the memory before snapping out of it. Luka handed her another picture of Marinette and Kagami at the orange juice place. Kagami was momentarily distracted. Chat Noir grabbed her locket, which disintegrated due to the cataclysm. Marinette walked off and re-transformed quickly, caught the akuma, and used the Miraculous Ladybug. Kagami stood and looked at the array of faces around her. She saw Luka, marched up to him, and slapped him hard across the face "WHERE WERE YOU???" Ladybug and Chat Noir left the quarreling couple and transformed back. They got back to the dance. Kagami and Luka got to the dance, had fun, and danced the night away. Dark butterfly wasn't celebrating though "Mark my words, Marinette, If the only way to get Adrien is to wish for him to love me, I will do anything"
