Chapter 7: Showdown of accusations

Before I start, I wanted to thank you guys for 50 views. 

-Ash's POV-

Beep. Beep. Beep. Zzzzzzz. "PIIIKKKAAAA-CHUUUUUU!!!" And that's how my day started. Pikachu, Froakie, and my other Pokémon came over on Saturday night, so that's how Pikachu got here. Sometimes I wish he wasn't. Anyways, I quickly jumped out of bed, poured myself some cereal, brushed my teeth, and ran out of the room with Pikachu on my shoulder.

When I got to the classroom, I saw someone in tears. Serena Yvonne. Did she forget her makeup again? When I tried to ask her what's wrong she said to me, "Don't you dare talk to me or I will kill you!" Seriously, this woman has got attitude problems. I slowly backed away from her, before full on sprinting to my desk. She scares me. I looked up at her, and saw her shunning the person who I would least expect her to shun. Calem. This was shocking to me, as she has never ignored Calem before. Suddenly, I had the feeling this ran deeper then physical looks.

After class, Calem ran up to me and said, " I challenge you to a Pokémon battle! No one treats my girlfriend like that!" 

I looked at him with a blank face and asked him, "What did I do?"

"I don't know, but if she's in tears you must have done something to hurt her! Anyways, do you accept my challenge?!"

Sometimes that kid scares me. I have done nothing wrong! I knew I had no choice to accept though, so I decided to meet him after school at 4 PM for a 2v2 battle. 

-4PM after school- 

"Look who actually showed up."

"Why don't we just start the battle?"

"Fine! Gary you are the referee!"

"Pikachu, I choose you!" I shout. 

"Chespin, you're up!" Calem shouts. 

"Pikachu use quick attack!" 

Pikachu sped towards Chespin while being surrounded in a white glow. 

"Chespin use pin missile!"

"Pikachu, jump and use iron tail!"

The attack hit Chespin, knocking it down to the ground. Calem shouted, "Get up you good for nothing Pokémon, and use tackle!"

This battle was already over. "Pikachu use thunderbolt with full force!" 

Chespin fainted and Calem said, "Thanks for nothing, you useless brat, now I have to use Wartortle!"

I hated what this kid was doing to his Pokémon and knew I had to end this quick. "Pikachu return! Froakie go!" 

"Pathetic! Wartortle go!" 

"Froakie use bubble beam!"  

"Use rapid spin to block it!" 

Froakie shot a ton of bubbles at Wartortle, but were cancelled out due to Wartortle spinning rapidly. 

"Froakie, use double team!"

"Use hydro pump!" 

Froakie was able to avoid though, since there were too many clones.

"Froakie! Finish this up with water pulse!" 

Water pulse hit its mark and Wartortle fainted. 

"Both of Calem Xavier's Pokémon have fainted, making Ash Ketchum the winner!" Gary shouted.

"Uh, whatever! Return you useless turtle!" Calem said and stormed off. 

Ten seconds later, I heard a yell. "How dare you beat my boyfriend like that you brat!"

"What did I do?"

"You know very well what you did. My sister is dead and it's all your fault!"

"What? I swear I wasn't involved! What happened?" I said with concern.

"Why would you want to know? It's not like you have ever been in this situation before!" Serena yelled.

"Let's put it this way, Serena. Without this guy," I pointed to Froakie, "I wouldn't be alive."

And with that I walked off.
