Chapter 37: Pool

Here we go guys! The final 4 chapters! I'm super excited to get started on Agent White, as I feel like I can do much better with that book then I did with this one. Probably because I know the plot, so I won't have to make stuff up every chapter. While this book has short chapters, the new book will most likely have longer ones. This means, however, it will most likely take a week or so to upload, as I will have to type longer chapters. The writing style is also VERY different. Every sentence is a line, basically. It is kind of arranged like a poem, but it is not a poem. You'll see what I mean. It will have 1 POV through the whole story, but the readers will occasionally get a glimpse at what the other characters are doing(namely the villains). Thank you for 8000 reads on this book, and let's get started on Chapter 37. It might take a bit longer to finish the book then I expected.

-3rd person POV-

Ash was sitting in his room on a Sunday afternoon, the same afternoon/night in which Froakie and Fennekin started dating. He was bored so he decided to text Serena.

Ash: I'm bored 😐 

Serena: Lol me 2

Ash: We should go swimming!

At the thought of this, both Ash and Serena started to blush extremely as they realized what they would be wearing.

Serena: ok :)

At this point, anybody looking at the two would think they turned into tomatoes, as they were both blushing extremely. Serena had an important question on her mind though.

-Serena's POV-

I wonder... does he know that I'm Honey? I'm getting kinda tired of waiting. If he doesn't ask me if I am by November 3rd, I will tell him! And I will tell him that I love him too!

-3rd Person POV-

Ash and Serena both got ready to go to the indoor pool. Since it was indoors, they were able to go late, so they decided to meet at 6. They were planning to have dinner with each other afterwards. Ash went to pick Serena up. Ash was wearing a shirt on top of his bathing suit, while Serena was wearing clothes on top of hers.

Ash walked Serena to the pool while they exchanged some pleasant conversation. Soon, they went to opposite changing rooms so they could change into their bathing suits.

Ash almost got a nosebleed when Serena came out of her changing room, as he thought she looked stunningly beautiful.

"Uhhh...why are you staring at me Ash?" Serena asked.

"It's because you look absolutely gorgeous in your swimsuit!" Serena blushed massively at that, for her childhood crush just called her gorgeous. How she wanted to seal the deal! It would only take a kiss! But no, she could not bring herself to do it, and risk their friendship in the process. Maybe if she asked, she would've got the result she was hoping for. 

"Aww...thanks Ashy!"

"You're welcome...Honey"

The last part, 'Honey' was said quietly, so Ash thought Serena couldn't pick up on it. However, she actually did pick up on it and almost gasped in shock. She quickly maintained herself though, and said, " What was that last part?"

"Huh? Nothing!"

Serena wasn't buying it however, as she was convinced she heard what she wanted to hear so badly. She so wanted to give Ash a quick peck on the lips, but again held back. If she had went in though, she would have got exactly what she wanted out of it. Instead she decided to use a much less risky form of trying to get her answer out. Tickling.

"Ahaha-Serena-ahah-what—are -hahaha-you- doing?" Serena didn't answer, as she was slightly angered by the fact that her tickling method didn't work. So she decided to push Ash into the pool. Unfortunately for her, Ash was stronger than her and grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in with him.

"Aaaaah Ash!" Serena screamed as she felt herself getting dragged into the pool. "That's what you get Honey!" There was no mistaking it this time. Ash knew she was Honey. The fact brought a warm smile to her face as she started blushing intensely. Her wildest dreams were starting to come true.

Serena gave herself a pinch on her arm to make sure she wasn't dreaming, and formed a goofy grin when she realized she wasn't. She let out a slight giggle as she grabbed Ash's waist from behind. It was only at this point that she realized that she was in the water.

As for Ash, he recognized his mistake almost immediately and prepared for Serena to be mad  at him. But to his surprise, she was nothing of the sort. He looked in with shock as he saw her start to blush, following up with a slight giggle. He was so shocked when she grabbed onto his waist, that he didn't know what to do!

Serena giggled as she looked at Ash's reaction and stuck out her tongue before splashing him and saying, "Come and get me Ashy!" Ash formed a slight grin while thinking of how much he loves her, but when he heard Serena, he quickly snapped out of it and started chasing her.

This led to a splash fight in which the two started to get drenched. They decided to go to the sides to dry off on the sun chairs. As Ash sat down, Serena quickly ran up to him and sat down next to him. She put her head on his shoulder and started rubbing it against his shoulder in a gentle and loving way. Serena looked up with a begging look in her eyes as she met his eyes. She started to melt in and knew she couldn't hold back anymore.

She wanted this moment, and she was going to make sure she got it. Ash put his arm around her waist and brought her head up to look directly into his. They both slowly began to lean in as of savoring the moment. 

-Clemont's POV- 

I decided to go to the pool to test out my Water-Chlorine-Level-Detector Mark 1. I was about to open the door, when suddenly I noticed Ash and Serena together on the same chair. Like seriously, what the hell happened here? I thought they hated each other a month ago. Now they ar leaning in to kiss? Eh. Relationships form in the weirdest ways. I still remember that time with Korrina. 

We were at a park as Korrina wanted to go, when suddenly a kid named Barry came running over and nearly ran over Korrina! She jumped on to me, leading into an accidental kiss which I thoroughly enjoyed, and luckily the feelings were mutual. We revealed to each other that we had liked each other for quite some time, before finally getting together. 

I quickly made my way out the door, not wanting to interrupt whatever those 2 are doing.

-3rd person POV-

As Clemont made his way out the door, Serena and Ash's faces were getting closer and closer, when suddenly....
