Chapter 28 🐾 The Challenge

Winter's pov.

"You ready to see brother's match with Joe sweety?" I ask Lilly.

"No..I liked Joe Mommy. Now we cant be friend's it's all stupid brother's fault."

"Would you rather go to Aunt Autumn's? Tell me now Lilly cause I don't want to have to turn around."

"Yes, Auntie Autumn's will be much, much better."

"Okay will stop by there if not I'm sure grandpa a grandma won't mind at all."

"Okay." Lilly sighs.

She's so sad. This is the life of wolves though. She's lucky her brother care's so much. I didn't have a brother I wonder if I did would he had torn Richard up all those year's ago I'd like to think Alpha or not a brother would have. I pull into my parent's drive. I get out go around and unbuckle Lilly.

"Come on Lilly," I say.

My mom step's out on the porch. "Hay darling what bring's you guy's by aren't you supposed to be heading to Julius's match?" She asks.

"Yeah, Lilly wants to come to stay with you guys she doesn't want to see them fighting," I tell her.

"Grandma!" Lilly shouts. Running into my mom's arms.

"Oh, my Lilly is definitely welcome to stay here with us. How about some milk and cookie?" My mom asks her.

"Yea!" Lilly yells and claps her hands.

"Okay, I have to get going. Richard pulled Julius out early today so I better get going or he'll worry and won't start the match." I tell mom. Julious has always been like that no matter the situation.

"Okay see you later love you," Mom says blowing me a kiss. I blow her one back and get back in my car.

Richard didn't text or call today. It kinda pissed me off he just checked Julious out didn't tell me. His teacher did it at lunch. Everything's so complicated right now...and it's his fault he asked Ryan to come I didn't...I wouldn't have. I know Ryan's mad he probably feels I betrayed him. I bet he thinks I fucking owe him. I don't owe him shit. I didn't ask for shit. There was no relationship between us. I know he loved me though.. I saw it. My wolf would never settle for him though would never crave him or want him. His wolf had no one to love because Ryan's mate had died. Mine, on the other hand, knew our mate was very much alive with or without his fucking mark.

I pull up to the training facility it's packed. I already feel my mate's presence. I feel he's full of tension and not at ease. I get out and make my way to the entrance and then through the door, I can't believe how crowded it is here. Wolves everywhere. Word must have gotten out about Alpha's son.

That's just fantastic. All a sudden my arm's grabbed. I look up at the person who has a grip on my arm's and freeze its none other than Ryan himself. Are you fucking kidding me they let this man run freely around here?
"You think you can just take off and leave with no word? Did you think I wouldn't come to get you eventually?" He seethes. I swallow fear coursing threw my vein's sending a shiver through my body.

"Ryan my Alpha demanded my return immediately. My family's here. Please don't do this." I whisper yell. He's angry I feel it rolling off his muscular body.
But before he even has a chance to say another word were interrupted.
