Chapter 4 - Confessions

Author's note: I know when the Fab Five did their 5/5 collab at the o2l house that they were only there for one night, but in this story, I am making it a couple of days. Anyways, enjoy the story!

Jack POV

When I woke up the following morning, my arms were wrapped around Jenn, and she had her head rested comfortably on my shoulder. I would move, but I didn't want her to wake up.

Her eyes were still puffy from crying last night. I couldn't believe Matt would do that do her. I would never do that to Jenn, let alone anyone. I always suspected him to be a jerk, and now everyone knows with truth to back it up.

I slid my hand from her waist to her hair, picking up a strand. I twirled it around, intertwining a piece inbetween my fingers. I hear my phone buzz from the nightstand and pick it up.

New Message from Connor:

Con Da Bon: What's taking so long? Not making babies I hope!

Crap. I just noticed the time, 12:10. I wanted to get up but I didn't want to wake Jenn. She looked so cute sleeping. But Connor was right, we had all agreed to go get lunch today, and we needed to get ready, or at least put on different clothes.

I responded to Connor:

Jack: Coming! Sorry, just late risers. And no Con ;)

Con Da Bon: No kidding ;) Hurry up!

I gently slid my hand so I was not holding Jenn anymore and whispered sweetly,"Morning Jenn, wakey wakey."

Jenn fluttered her eyes open and groggily looked up at me. "Alright, Jack I'm up," she said quietly. God she was so cute in the morning with her little dragon voice.

I went through my bag, looking for something to wear. I found a basic navy blue hoodie and another pair of black skinny jeans. "I really need new clothes" I thought to myself as I pulled the hoodie over my head. Turning back around, Jenn had already dressed. God Damn she was fast. She looked gorgeous as always in skinny jeans and a blue shirt with a leather jacket. Jack, stop she's just your friend. Nothing more.

"See you downstairs, don't take too long," she said winking and closing the door behind her. I blushed a shade of pink and looked down. She's just your friend Jack. I finished changing and quickly joined the rest of the group in the living room.

"Your hair not working this morning?" Anthony joked in his usually sassy tone. He of all people would know how long it takes in the morning to do my hair. Actually, it looked half decent this morning, so I didn't really touch it, except for some product here and there.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Andrea talking to Jenn and looking over at me occasionally. Great, now everyone probably thinks I had sex with Jenn.

TIME SKIP

Jenn POV

After we all finished going out for lunch at Cheesecake Factory, we broke into groups of three and four and decided to go shopping at the mall. I went with Rebecca and Andrea and we headed straight for Forever 21. I really wasn't in the mood for shopping but I just wanted to have some girl alone time away from Jack for a while.

Truth be told, I was falling for Jack. But the thing is, I don't even think he likes me back. What do I do? Ugh! This is so confusing! He's so hot and he's super sweet, but he's my best friend. What if it doesn't work out and it ends up ruining our friendship forever, not to mention ruining the Fab Five. I just broke up with Matt, or should I say he broke up with me. It was all I wanted, but know I think it's even more complicated now that we aren't together.

I tried to relax, shaking the thought away from my head. This is your girls day Jenn, don't think about Jack. But then I remembered, the Fab Five were collabing our 5/5 collab tonight. Great... I already know that there's going to be at least one fan question about Jack and I, or our New Years kiss. Sometimes I don't even know how fans find these things out, I guess they just put the pieces together. Whatever their method was, it was working, but I would never confess anything.

Andrea POV

After a while, I suggested that we go get a Starbucks. Not necessarily because I was thirsty, I mainly wanted to just sit and talk for a while. I especially wanted to ask Jenn a few things myself.

Jenn and Rebecca both ordered their drinks and sat down in a table with me. I didn't get anything because I was still full from lunch.

"Sooooo, Jenn, what's going on with you and Jack?" I said, but soon regreted it.

Wow great job Andrea. She just got cheated on by Matt and now you're asking questions about Jack. But, I was curious after all.

"Well, nothing really," Jenn said quietly, but then added, "we're just friends," blushing a bit.

I raised my eyebrows and looked at Rebecca. We both knew that friends was an understatement. Rebecca shrugged and was about to make another comment, but stopped herself. It was probably for the beat anyways, Jenn probably didn't want to be harassed about Jack anymore today.

We continued talking for a bit, then headed back to the o2l house in order for the Fab Five to film their 5/5 collabs.

As Jenn entered the house, I pulled Rebecca aside, "I'm staying at my place tonight, so give me updates about you know what," I smirked.

"For sure," Rebecca whispered. She looked around to see if anyone was around, then added, "If it doesn't happen by tomorrow, the 3/5 will make it happen," she laughed, then went inside.
