Chapter 5 - Stay

Author's note: I know I said I would publish the last chapter (chapter 4) last night, but I forgot! Opps! Well, now you have two chapters today! Enjoy :)

Jack POV

Once we all made it back to the house, it was around 5pm. The five of us were playing to film when it got dark, so we had a bit of time to kill. Kian and Jc were facing off in Mario Kart for the thousandth time while most of the o2l boys, Andrew, Rebecca, and Anthony watched. Well. Anthony didn't really watch, he mostly updated his snapchat story.

That made the only two people left, Jenn and I. I looked around the room for her, but couldn't find her anywhere. Then I realized, I am an idiot, I can just text her. I pulled out my phone, only to find a text from Jenn already.

New message from Jenn:

Jenn Jenn: Come to the guest room, let's hang for a bit. Too loud in the living room.

Perfect, some time just for Jenn and I alone. Jack stop! Just friends remember, best friends. I headed up the stairs and down the hallway into the guest room. I opened the door and found Jenn sitting on the bed with her legs crossed on her phone.

I pulled out my phone and texted Jenn:

Jack: Here ;)

She giggled as she read the text. "No shit, Sherlock," she laughed.

I went and sat on the bed next to her. "So, what do you wanna do?" I asked.

She thought for a moment, then layed down on the bed, "Hey, do you wanna just lay and talk for a while?" She said, "I didn't have anything planned," she smirked.

I layed down, facing her. "I feel like I haven't seen or talked to you in forever," I admitted.

"I know, the last time we saw each other was..." she trailed off. I knew what she was thinking, New Years. The time we kissed. The time I realized I liked Jenn.

Jenn POV

"I know, the last time we saw each other was...." I stopped myself. Why did I have to bring that up? Im such an idiot. Now it's gonna be awkward for both of us.

"I'm sorry," I apoligized. Im so awkward. I looked down and started to get up off the bed. I went to leave when Jack grabbed my wrist.

"Jenn, please wait, it's okay,"

Jack POV

I grabbed Jenn's wrist. I didn't want her to leave me. I loved Jenn.

"Jack, why should I stay? I've already embrassed both you and me. I should just go," she said, looking down.

"This was my chance," I thought. No, no Jack. She's your best friend.

"Jenn, please. I just need some advice okay?" I said, pulling her back to sit on the bed beside me. I had a plan.

"Okay, I guess so. What do you need advice with?" she said, still looking at the ground.

"Well there's this girl. She has the most beautiful eyes, I could stare at them all day. Her hair is always perfect. And her laugh, oh her laugh is the cutest thing I've ever heard in my life."

"Oh. I guess you like her, huh?" Jenn said sadly.

"Yes, yes I do. I just don't know how to tell her." I said

"Well, I don't think I can help you there. I'm an idiot when it comes to love," she said quietly, "Let me guess, is it Claudia?"

"Why would it be Claudia? It seems you're a bit jealous, Jenn," I said smirking.

"I-I'm not jealous," she stuttered, blushing.

"Mhmm, sure. Now one more question Jenn. Why are you jealous of yourself?" I said looking at her. This was it. I prayed she would catch on, and that she feels the same way.

She looked up at me, "W-what? You like me?"

"You're a bit slow," I laughed.

"I just dont understand," she said, staring into my eyes.

"But I do," I said, wrapping my arms around her waist. I pressed my lips to hers, pulling her closer. This was the best moment of my life. I felt something. Something magical Even more magical than the New Years kiss.

Jenn POV

I couldn't believe it, Jack just said he liked me, and the next thing I knew, he was kissing me. And I kissed back. Everything made sense now, I liked Jack, and he liked me back. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and we just sat there for a few moments, just kissing. I pulled away looking down and blushing slightly.

"That is why you should stay, Jenn. I like you. I've liked you ever since I met you. And on New Years, when we kissed, I felt something Jenn, something magical," he said, brushing my hair behind my ear.

"I felt something too Jack. I just never knew how to tell you, but I guess you know now, huh?" I said, blushing. Crap. I hate blushing. I bit my lip, hoping it would go away.

Jack placed his finger on my bottom lip and pulled it down gently, releasing it from my teeth. "Jenn, don't do that," he smirked.

"Why?" I questioned.

"Because it turns me on," he said, starting to walk away towards the door.

I blushed. I looked over at the door, and Jack was gone. I knew what he was doing. I just wish he would stay, I wanted to kiss him once more. He was an amazing kisser after all. Then I realized, what are we exactly? Dating? Who knows, we never did discuss it. Suddenly, I heard a buzz from my pocket.

New message from Andrew:

Andy: Come on bitch! We're gonna record soon! Get your ass down here this instant Jennifer.

I laughed. I texted him back:

Jenn: Coming! Don't lose your shit!

I opened the door and walked into the living room. I smirked, thinking about Jack. Focus Jenn! You have to film now. Just pretend like nothing happened. "Easier said than done," I thought. As I walked out back to where they were setting up, 4/5 were running around screaming like always. Oh boy, this was gonna be an interesting night.
