Chapter 8 - Big Announcement

Jack POV

It has been a few weeks since I have last seen Jenn. We text almost everyday, whether it's in our Fab Five group chat, or if I text her individually. I miss her a lot. Playlist Live is almost here thankfully, and it couldn't come soon enough. I just can't wait to see her and her reaction to my big announcement.

Jenn POV

I woke up to the sun shining through the blinds next to my bed and birds chirping outside. Ugh. I put my pillow over my ears and tried to go back to sleep, but it was no use, I was already wide awake. I yawned, and reached over to my phone. I have been so lazy the past few days, or erm, weeks. I honestly lay in bed all day, and when I do get up, it's only to get a snack, or go to the bathroom. I don't know what's gotten into me. What am I talking about? Of course I know why I'm acting like this. I missed Jack. I really missed him. I missed him so much it killed me. We texted and occasionally skyped, but it wasn't the same as seeing his face in person, and having his arms wrapped around me, making the rest of the world disappear around us.

I was just glad that there was only one more week until Playlist Live. I don't know if I could take it anymore; being away from him. The only problem was there would be lots of other youtubers around, so it would be hard to get him alone and have him to myself. Okay Jenn, calm down, stop being overly attached. Well and of course, it would be nice to see the rest of the Fab Five and o2l too.

TIME SKIP

Jack POV

It was finally the day! The day I would fly out to Orlando for Playlist Live! The day I would be reunited with all my best friends! The day I would finally see Jenn in person for the first time in a month! I was so excited that I had already packed in advance, and not the day of; and that never happens.

I was especially excited because I got to tell Jenn my big announcement. I couldn't wait to see her reaction. I could have told her last week, but I decided to keep it a secret until now because I wanted to tell her in person.

I got out of bed and practically tripped over my suitcase on my way to the kitchen. I ate two pieces of toast and had some orange juice as usual, then took a shower. I styled my hair, making sure it looked perfect for Jenn. To my luck, it was one of my good hair days. I rocked out to my Spotify playlist while I picked out an outfit. Finally, I settled on my signature black skinny jeans, a blue baseball tee, and my black converse.

As I went to go check the time on my phone, 11:42am, I noticed, 21 text messages? Probably from my group chat; it never stops, even at 3am.

I unlocked my phone to check the messages. Most were stupid. Honestly, I don't understand the reason for spamming the entire group chat with obnoxious text messages every 5 minutes, but then again, this is the Fab Five we're talking about, and I do it too. I rolled my eyes, laughing. Classic Fab Five.

Fab Five group chat:

Becks: Okay Bitches! In all seriousness, when are ya guys getting in today?I'm landing at 1:30

Lil Tony: Should be there at 2

Andy: Me too

Jenn Jenn: Landing at 1:30

Jack: I'll be in by 2

As much as I wish I was getting in the same time as Jenn, I was glad to be getting in the same time as Andrew and Anthony to have some guy time if you know what I mean. I loved hanging out and talking with Jenn, but sometimes a guy needs to have some time away from girls.

TIME SKIP

Jenn POV

My flight had just landed, and I was in the airport looking around for Rebecca. Then I realized, I know where she is; it's where she always is, Starbucks. I walked over to Starbucks, where Rebecca was ordering her drink. I waited until she was done talking to the barista, before yelling, "OH MY GOD! IT'S REBECCA BLACK! WHAT DAY IS IT?"

She immediately turned around, recognizing my voice, and screamed, running towards me with her Starbucks in hand and her suitcase trailing behind her. By now, the whole airport was staring at us. God, we have to stop causing scenes wherever we go.

"IT'S FRIDAY!" She yelled, hugging me. I missed Rebecca and her constant racket. I pulled away from her, laughing, "I missed you Becks,"

"I missed you too Jenny. How about we head to the hotel now, so we can chat for a bit before the others get here. We have a lot to discuss!" She exclaimed,practically pulling me behind her.

I'm not sure what she had to discuss with me, but as long as we were heading to the hotel, it was fine with me!

TIME SKIP

When we got to the hotel and checked in the Fab Five, we headed up to our room and sat on the bed. We didn't exactly talk about anything in particular, just caught up on what was going on in each other's lives.

Shortly after, the other 3/5 barged into the hotel room, screaming as usual. I immediately headed straight for Jack, hugging him. He lifted me slightly on the ground as we hugged and he whispered into my hair, "I missed you so much! It feels like forever since I've seen my Jenn Jenn," Crap. Now I'm blushing. I let go from his grasp, "I missed you too. It has been too long since I've seen you, Jacky," I said, looking up at him.

Rebecca spoke up from behind us, "So, are you guys gonna make out or what?"

Now I'm blushing even harder. I turned around, running full force at Rebecca. "YOU LITTLE SHIT!" I screamed, tackling on the bed. She laughed, "Okay okay! Don't kill me,"

I felt arms wrap around my waist, and in suprise, I let go of Rebecca. I turned around to Jack lifting me up, allowing Rebecca to escape. Now I was laughing even harder, luckily covering up the fact I was bright red from blushing.

Once the five of us were done having a laugh attack, we started settling in and unpacking. As I was unpacking, I felt someone grab my arm, and turned around to see Jack, leading me outside the hotel room. "Where are we going?" I asked, hoping we weren't going out, based on my appearance.

"Nowhere, I just wanted a quiet moment with my Jenn Jenn," he said, pulling me down to sit beside him in the hotel hallway. "Oh okay," I said, resting my head on his shoulder.

"Hey Jenn, I have something important and exciting to tell you," he said, "Well actually all of the Fab Five, but I wanted to tell you first,"

I nodded, wanting him to continue. I wondered what he wanted to tell me. Honestly, I had no idea.

"Well, for the past month, I have been looking around with my mom online, and I think, I-I think I've found an appartment in LA! Actually I don't think; I know! We've sealed the deal, and I will be able to move out there as soon as I'm finished online schooling!" he said, squeezing my hand. I could tell he was excited. It must have been hard to keep it from everyone for so long.

"Oh my God! Seriously? This is so amazing Jacky! I will be able to see you, and you'll be closer to a bunch of our friends!" I said excitedly.

"I know! I'm still in shock! I should be finished schooling by late May, which means I'll be moved in by VidCon!" he said.

Wow! Jack in LA! This made my day. I was so excited for him. We will be able to see him whenever I want, and he won't be all the way across the country. Things seem to be looking up for Jack and I.
