Chapter 2 - Impressions

JacksPOV

I can't believe it! Today's the day I get to go to LA again and see all my best friends: The Fab Five, O2L and Jenn of course. The only down side was I had to get up at 5 am this morning in order to get the 6:30 flight. God I was not a morning person.

I sluggishly got out of bed and put in two pieces of toast into the toaster. After I ate and checked twitter, I took a shower and started doing my hair. My hair had to look great, Jenn was picking me up at the airport. Oh Jenn, she's so beautiful and sweet. Jack what are you thinking? She has a boyfriend, Matt, and it's not like they are breaking up anytime soon. I have to remind myself that we are just friends.

After I had gone through every single shirt and short combination in my closet, I finally decided on a dark grey shirt, black skinny jeans, a green and blue flannel and my black Harry Styles shoes.

I looked around, there was clothes everywhere and scattered all around the room. I shrugged. I would clean it when I got back. I got my bag and my phone and headed to the airport. I could not wait to leave Connecticut. As much as I loved it there because my family lives there, nothing exciting ever happens and my best friends live all across the country.

TIME SKIP

I guess I had zoned out the entire flight listening to my Spotify playlist because before I knew it, the flight attendee was tapping my shoulder telling me we were in Los Angeles. Excitement filled my body as I thought of seeing Jenn for the first time, since.... New Years. Crap, I never thought about that. I just hope that things aren't too awkward between us. I know we said it was a friendly kiss, but to be honest, I felt something. I don't exactly know what, but it was magical. I couldn't be in love with Jenn, could I?

I shook the thought out of my head as I got my bag and headed to Starbucks. I ordered a Caramel Frapp and a blue berry muffin and sat at one of the tables, waiting for a text from Jenn.

Just as I was finishing my muffin, my phone buzzed.

New message from Jenn:

Jenn Jenn❤: I just pulled in! Come and find me ;)

I smirked, Jenn was so cute. I got up from the table and picking up my bag and phone. All of a sudden, I was knocked forward back into the table. What the hell?

Then I heard it, that cute laugh. Jenn. I smiled and turned around, gently pushing her off me.

"Boo" she laughed.

"I found you" I smirked.

I pulled her into a hug. She wrapped her arms around my neck and whispered, "I missed you Jacky" We let go of each other because people were already staring due to the fact that we almost knocked over a table in the middle of the airport.

"I missed you too Jenn Jenn" I said, smiling.

"Alright, let's get going." She said, breaking eye contact.

I nodded. As she turned, I swore I saw her blush. Jenn blushing? At me? The thought made me smile and blush a little myself. Following behind Jenn, we headed outside into her car.

On the way to the O2L house, we caught up on things and jammed out to some Ariana Grande, screaming the lyrics as loud as we could out the windows. I had to admit, Jenn was a pretty good singer, but I thought Jenn was good at everything so I guess my opinion is pretty biased.

JennPOV

Once we got to the O2L house, we bought Jack's bags inside and said hello to everyone.

As I made my way to the living room, I saw Andrea with Kian on the couch watching a movie. I sat down next to them and prayed that Jack or some one would sit beside me to make sure I wasn't third wheeling.

Jack came and sat next to me and I sighed with relief. Andrea turned her head towards me and smirked, raising her eyebrows in Jack's direction. I just gave her a death stare and went back to watching the movie with a little shade of pink on my cheeks.

I guess time had passed faster than I thought because the next thing I knew, the rest of the Fab Five came marching through the door, and their screams quickly traveled through the house. Crap! I was supposed to pick them up. Opps.

Jack must of read my mind because he turned towards me and laughed, "Weren't you supposed to pick up the weirdos Jenn?"

"I must have lost track of time, I guess Ricky must have picked them up." I laughed.

"Who wants lasagna?" Anthony laughed storming into the living room with Rebecca and Andrew not far behind.

All of us on the couch got up and gave each of them a hug, and I swore I saw Andrea give Rebecca a certain look towards Jack and I out of the corner of my eye.

I shoke it off and all of us sat down to watch the end of the movie.

"I don't know about you bitches, but I'm hungry!" Andrew said.

"What about pizza?" I suggested.

We all agreed and decided on three extra large pepperoni pizzas.

TIME SKIP

JackPOV

Once we all finished our pizza, all of the O2L boys and the Fab Five decided to play a giant game of truth or dare, minus Kian and Andrea, who decided to go out for Chinese food.

We all gathered in a circle in the living room and began the game.

"I'll start," Connor said, looking around the circle, and to my luck he stared at me and smirked, "Jack, truth or dare?"

"Umm"

I thought about it, and decided dare was probably the best choice.

"Dare," I said flatly.

He smirked, "Fine, I dare you to go pour cold water on yourself outside."

As much as I hated the thought of cold water on me, I was just glad he didn't say to do something involving Jenn.

I went to the fridge, pulling out a giant jug of ice water, and headed to the backyard.

I groaned before pouring it all over me.

"Holy shit that's cold!"

Connor laughed, passing me a towel. As I passed by him, he whispered, "you're welcome," and smirked.

I hated that I knew exactly what he was talking about. Jenn. "I swear Connor can read minds," I thought as I slumped up the stairs to an empty room to get changed.
