Jack POV

Everything was as it should be again; Jenn was mine, and I would never let her out of my sight again.

We headed down into the backyard, hand in hand, to go back inside and head to bed. We opened the door to go inside, when Jc saw us and stopped us in our tracks; his facial expression going from happy to cold as he looked in our direction. His eyes glanced down disapprovingly at our interlocked hands. He opened his mouth to say something, but stopped himself, and stepped aside to let us pass. That was weird.

Once we got into the spare room, I sat down on the bed.

"What the hell was that? With Jc?" I asked, repeating the encounter in my head.

Jenn shook her head, "I don't know. He's always been a bit protective of me, I guess," she trailed off, confused.

She bit her lip, getting nervous. I smirked, standing up, and wrapped one hand around her waist, while I put the other up to her bottom lip. She giggled, cracking a smile. You could tell she was trying to stay serious, but she couldn't help it. Jenn released her bottom lip from her teeth, looking up to kiss me.

"Sorry Jacky, sometimes I can't help it," she smirked, staying close to me.

She pulled me by my hand to sit on the bed with her. I just now noticed that we still were soaked from the rain storm.

"We're still soaked, Jenn," I laughed.

"Oh yeah," she giggled, "I guess time just got away from us," she smirked, walking away, but keeping her eyes locked on mine.

I rolled my eyes playfully. God she was such a tease. I changed into a loose shirt and sweats, and went to sit back on the bed.

Jenn came back out from the bathroom wearing a big baggy sweater and cotton pajama shorts. She had her hair in a messy bun, and had on cute, big framed glasses.

My eyes must have widened, because she laughed, crawling beside me on the bed. I let her rest her head on my shoulder, and she had her arms wrapped around me, clinging on like a koala bear. We sat there, talking, while I stroked her hair.

"Hey Jenn?" I whispered, after we hadn't talked in a while.

Silence. I looked over at her, only to find she had fallen asleep with her head on my chest. She was so cute while she slept.

Then I remembered, I never finished talking, "I love you Jenn Jenn," I said, leaning over her to kiss her lips gently, causing her to smile while she slept.

I then realised I was thristy, and went to go get a glass of water from the kitchen. I slowly left her side and got out of bed. I looked over my shoulder at Jenn, who was now fast alsleep, curled up in a little ball.

I made my way to the kitchen, and poured myself a glass of water. Just then, I heard a voice echo from behind me. Turning around, I found Jc standing opposite me on the other side of the counter, "I don't like that," he said, giving me an icy cold stare.

"You don't like what?" I said, while turning around to put the water pitcher back into the fridge.

"You know what I'm talking about, Jack. You and Jenn; that's what I don't like," he said, while his eyes burned into my back.

I turned back around in shock. I didn't understand. Did Jc like Jenn? Was he jealous?

"W-what?" I said, making sure I heard properly.

"All I'm saying," he said, turning away from me, "Is that you two don't belong together, that's all,"

He walked back upstairs, leaving me alone in the kitchen in shock. I had a bad feeling about him; a very bad feeling.
