"I have some exciting news!" you quickly sat on the old couch.

"ooh what is it?" Chenle sat in front of you. the rest of the boys gathered along to hear your so called exciting news.

"so you know how I always wanted to go study aboard in Paris right?" you asked, the boys nodded.

"wait don't say anything yet, let me get some chips" Chenle starts to rush off in the kitchen, you let out a loud groan. within matters of seconds, Chenle comes back running and jumping onto the couch, accidentally hitting Jaemin's face in the process. Donghyuck and Renjun start bursting out laughing while Jeno get's distracted by Jisung. Jaemin lets out a fake whine.

"guys, y/n's telling us something. let's listen" Mark calms everyone down and shuts them all up.

"thank you" mark flashes a smile at you waiting for your news.

"well, I have the opportunity to go and study aboard over in Paris! I took it!" you cheered. Mark's smile shattered as well as his whole heart. the rest of the boys stared at you with mixed feelings. unsure of what to say or do.

"y-you took it? that fast?" Jaemin stuttered still a bit shocked from your sudden news.

"yeah! it's been my dream to go and study over there. I can't believe i'll be able too" you still had a huge smile on your face.

"but I thought we all agreed on going to a community college together first" Jisung spoke in a soft tone.

"I know and the bad thing is that I could be over there for up to four years" now even you were silent. the whole room was quiet.

"studying over there is one of your dreams right?" Renjun asked, you gave him a small nod.

"then i'm happy" he smiles.

"you're doing something that you want to do. studying over in paris is a dream of yours and so I don't really want to be the reason why you can't do it" Renjun says, some of the boys nodded their heads.

"congrats to our little y/n!" Jaemin yells, Jeno cheers as well. the other four boys were still hesitate but decided to share out their happiness for you as well. even though they were hurt, they knew that you wanted it. Mark was the one who was hurt the most. yes, he was so happy for you but yet everything inside him felt heavy.

"when are you leaving?" Donghyuck asked.

"I leave in week" you say, your words brought the whole room gloomy again.

"well...we still have a week to have our fun right? let's make it the best one yet" Jaemin chuckles.

it was late at night. the only people still up was you and Mark. this whole night, Mark has been acting off.

"Mark-"

"you're really going?" his voice quivered.

"yeah.." you spoke softly.
