it's been a LONG time hasn't it? I didn't really mean to just disappear like that, I know it's not a good reason but I've been crazy busy with school especially with the holidays too trying my best to work for money. so im super sorry about not updating, I haven't even opened my notifications or messages yet either. not going to lie, I have been feeling guilty because I haven't updated in awhile but i was actually super happy to write this chapter because I missed writing for all of you.

if you're reading this, thank you for sticking with me! It definitely means a lot since I feel like I've been such a bad author lately but not writing/updating often. again forgive me. I hoped you all had a very good holiday break and we're starting the new year together (we're only 2 days late lol).

anyways, im just gonna do a quick recap of this story. part 1, jeno and y/n first meet. Jeno finds out that her mother died and eventually goes to his new friends and asks them for help. Part 2, him and his friends start looking for hints and he gets closer to y/n. towards the end of part 2, their leader Jaesuk will help them get to y/n's fathers office and then here is the third part :) I hope you enjoy and im sorry that it took a long time to get out.

"hello~" you appeared in front of Jeno.

"hello" he chuckles as a shy smile shows up on his face.

"what do you want to do tonight?" you asked as you took a seat on the couch.

"hmm, it doesn't really matter" he yawns at the end.

"are you tired?" you watched him take a seat on the other side of the couch.

"only a little, I didn't get much sleep today" you could tell that he was worn out.

"here" you grabbed one of the couch pillows and place it next to you.

"lay down" you patted the pillow.

"I can't, I have work" Jeno yawns again for the second time. You reached out and pulled onto his arm. You pulled him towards you so he was now laying down on the couch.

"just rest for a few minutes, i'll stay with you" Jeno stares at your face, he lets out a little sigh in defeat and just nods. You gave him a little smile before pulling out your phone. As you did whatever you wanted on your phone, Jeno takes a few minutes just to admire your face. Eventually, a smile cracks upon his face and he finally closes his eyes and rests.

It's been a couple of hours and Jeno starts to move around on the couch, probably feeling uncomfortable for sleeping on it too long. Jeno lets out a groan as he opens his eyes. His vision is blurry for just a few seconds before it finally clears up. He notices that your pretty face wasn't there. He instantly gets up and looks around the room, then a few seconds later there's some clanking noise coming from the kitchen. He quietly makes his way towards the kitchen.

"oh you're up" a sigh of relief comes out of Jeno's mouth.

"I was just about to wake you up" you grabbed another bowl from the cabinet. You headed over to the stove where there's a pan.

"I usually never cook anything but noodles, but I made pancakes, bacon, and eggs" you placed some of the scrambled eggs onto the plate.

"is that for me?" Jeno looked at you a little surprised by the sudden breakfast, you nodded.

"come sit" you pointed at the chairs that were surrounded by the island.

"what time is it?" he asked as he took a seat in one of the black fancy stools.
