Lauren's P.O.V.
A few more days left, and I'm free from this hell hole of a school. No more having to hear gossip about me. No more bullie sor hate.
Ever since I won that contest, other students have been really ticked off. I never understood why at all. Ignoring them was almost impossible, but thank god Rachel and Jaimee were there.
The minute I got home, I got a call from my brother Mike, whom I haven't seen in a while.
"How are things going over there?" He asks, sounding uncomfortable.
"Better," I say happily.
I grabbed a juice box from the fridge before going up to my room. I listened to Mike talking about getting a job, and hopefully soon he'll get one. He even told me about how grown up Joey has become since we last saw each other. It warms my heart that even if this family is all broken, it's still going strong - sort of.
Sometimes I just miss them a lot. I miss those times we would have a family vacation in L.A., like nothing happened. We can't turn back time and change the past, now can we?
"Lauren, you still there?" Mike chuckled on the other line.
"Yeah, sorry I was thinking."
"I'll make you a promise sis," he says slowly. I was anxious for what would come out next. "That...if I ever get that job, you're coming with me. I'm taking you away to a new start." He finishes.
"Just us?"
"Yeah squirt, just us."

It's weird how you live in a house but you can't call it home. There's a lot of things that make up a home and lesser things that make up a house. A house is just the barriers that keep you safe, where people you either love or loathe live, and it's the only place you can go until you've found your sweet escape. Then there's home - somewhere where you're free and you feel good. Somewhere where no one can ruin anything for you. Home is where your heart belongs, where your soul is free to roam as you wish.
When I was a child, I used to think the world was all good. Also I thought home was just your house that I've lived in. As a child we all get this misconceptions that later on we regret once we're grown up. We all regret our decisions, especially during our teenage years. Everything is just a regret waiting to be realized.
The famous line, "Everything happens for a reason," is all true. But what is the reason though? With that one simple line people grow curious and want to know. Some would not care at all, but a lot would go on a long journey in search for that reason. Because of their curiousity, they waste time, but they dom't care, since their mind is set on one thing, the reason.
Harry's P.O.V.
"You're going to fuck shit up you know," Liam sighed beside me.
We were both sitting on the edge of the stage for our show tonight. It was just us because he wanted to talk to me about things. I never knew why, but he had some sort of reason.
"I already did," I say. Yes, it's true I've fucked shit up ever since I moved on, or did I?
"I won't argue because I don't know what happened," he tells me.
Liam's a good friend, we get drunk when he knows I need it most, he talks to me a lot, and he hasn't questioned me once.
There wasn't much to talk about really. I fucked up, that's it, end of story. Nothing has happened between us since I left Sacramento, along with the heartaches that came with it.
